there is a guy in my morning creative writing class who has just the most wrong opinions anyone could possibly have aanya it's awful

his interpretations are baseless his assertions are ALSO baseless his opinions on how things should be written are reductive and restrictive and worst of all he is so condescending about all of this. today he essentially said that you can't relate to characters/struggles written in third person because you can't ever understand anyone else's problems and beyond that being a wild thing to say in a human context it's also NOT HOW PERSPECTIVE WORKS OH MY GODDDDD. a story does not just magically BECOME an account of your actual life or somehow significantly more (or less!!!!!!!) sympathetic just because the author is using first person to say "i did this!" and "i did that!"

im anti- Being Anti First/Second Person Perspective but that doesn't mean we can just say dumb shit and feel so smart about it. what the fuck are you talkingggg about 😭😭 how on EARTH do you still have your scholarships. please drop out im tired of listening to you speak in all of my classes so stupidly 😔

kidding, kidding. idk that any of these takes are Hot but: i am always a little bit rooting for the oilers bc one of my good friends follows them (to their own chagrin sometimes i think). i think the sharks are neat from a distance. something about the kraken is strangely offputting to me although i do love their Visuals. i wish the kings would incorporate another color or at least do something distinctive with their jerseys bc i am literally always forgetting that they aren't the vgk. vgk i have no thoughts on except an amorphous dislike. i think the ducks are just deeply irrepressibly lame, which is an issue bc the only thing my partner knows about hockey is that they like them. mn have SUCH a good aesthetic but i also really adore the stars. they're about as close as i get to a local team (8hr drive 👍) and they have a bunch of really fun guys and bloggers and Also They Are Green. anyway who tf else. absolutely zero thoughts on the canucks or calgary and that's as far as i got before i had to google what teams im talking about. hey why is nashville in this conference do you people even know where tennessee is

so this card FLEW out when i was shuffling! what's interesting is the magician is at the very start of the major acarna—it's the first person that the fool meets on their journey; where it balances + represents the four suits + the magic that can come when you are working in harmony with your spirit/body.

however, when it's in reverse, it's saying that your old tricks + habits aren't working. it's time to learn and try something new! it's time to start to put in the hard work + make your goals and dreams come true! i think with this card coming when it did, it's saying that coming into 2026, you may need to try new tactics and mindsets to truly grow into the new year!

you are trying to get me into TROUBLE... okay to go kind of controversial kind of not, fabian lysell. bruins pages (elsewhere) hype him up SO much and the guy's solid but i don't know if he's ever going to mature into the nhler everyone wants him to be. i get the expectations considering he was a first rounder but based on his performance so far it's just too much hype, too much pressure. i'd like to see him get more minutes but if he doesn't fit in the end then he doesn't fit
