   “Um, ex-SQUEASE me, but... what are THOOOSE?” Circling his best friend, Genie picked at Aladdin’s homely rags. After going through all the ‘trouble’ it took to turn the ( once upon a time ) street rat into a prince, he couldn’t help but wonder why on EARTH the boy would switch back to his old clothes. “Laundry day? Or did Rajah mark his territory again?”

Having won her trip to Agrabah through lies and deceit, it was only fair that the trip would be a torturous one. The heat, for one thing, was unbearable, and even her stern faced father’s face was reddening with each passing moment. She could’t even walk for the sand was much like a heated plate of iron and burned the soles of her feet.

So she instead rode her horse as is she was a piece of luggage, as Pascal sunbathed on top of her head. “Ugh why couldn’t I be married off to some prince in Germany or something? A nice cool place with dewy leaves and fog.”

Eventually the walls of the kingdom began to take form and the cream buildings gave way to colorful tapestries and the smell of unknown spices and perfumes. The party stopped just long enough to straighten her back and slipper her feet.  She was ushered into a carriage and soon they were back on the figurative road. Eventually the met with the head of the local guards who gave Rapunzel the same uneasy feeling eating 30 cookies in one sitting did.

Hopefully the monarchs of this land were more to her taste but for now she’d happily take in the new sights and sounds from the small window by her seat.

@immunitae Plane’s been one of my dearest friends for awhile and honestly I feel I don’t deserve the kindness he gives me. We’ve had ups and downs, twists and turns...But in the end he’s stayed by me and has given me a good kick in the ass when I need it. Also my writing of Ozzy pales in comparison to his. He’s got his personality, moves, and style down to a T. Plane, you are truly a gift I really don’t deserve. You keep shining, okay?

@rodentsleuth Baz is such a fabulous person and The Great Mouse Detective is seriously underrated and deserves more cred. Baz is just super friendly and nice, and I feel like we’ve bonded a lot since we met! Love ya lots, hon. Your writing is *chef’s kiss*

@ababwa Al has been one of my dear friends for awhile and their Aladdin is pure poetry. Al is also like a brother to me in some instances, as he’s so sweet and kind and great to talk to when I’m down. You’re amazing, Al. Love ya.
