Chapter 5

Peak Castle, Dressing room 

         Philip Corvenova, the soon-to-be inaugurated as the 13th Colony Colonial Master was looking at a large mirror, pathetically trying to fix his tie. He is pouting already, trying to untangle again his crooked tie. His bodyguard, Jonathan, a new guy watched amused with the master’s antics. Jonathan sigh defeatedly and approached the poor lad. 

“Master Philip, may I?” Jonathan said pointing at his barely dignified tie. 

“Thank you,” Philip exclaimed, smiling brightly, “I’m not really good at this stuff. I never like wearing formal clothes. They are too uncomfortable for me.”

         Jonathan swiftly tied it neatly like he’s an expert. Philip’s height was only reaching his chin so he was looking down while fixing his tie. Looking at the duo, they look like father and son. The bodyguard marvel about the fact that this young man will be the colonial master, the leader, the father, the protector, and the provider of their colony. This position is difficult and dangerous, and he cannot fathom what danger this young man will have. But as one his personal bodyguard its an honor to serve and protect him. 

“Done,” the bodyguard said, stepping back and going back to his position near the door. 

Philip was smiling blindly, looking at the large mirror, hair flattened, dressed smart in 2-piece-suit and navy blue tie. He raised a thumbs-up to the mirror with his reflection.

“Now, lets go to my inauguration. Its gonna be fun!”
