For most of her life her grandparents had raised her and her little brother Minki. She doesn’t really talk a lot about her past but we do know that she has had a love and passion for music since she was young.

She is really close to her younger brother Minki and wants him to do well in everything. She has a bit of a broken relationship with her parents and it shows. She doesn’t really talk about anyone in her family but Minki.

Growing up she took piano lessons as well as guitar lessons. She didn’t really take vocal lessons or classes but she did sing a lot when she was younger. She also did a lot of dancing while growing up.

In 2007 Bohui decided to audition for JYP Entertainment and she got in. She trained under the company until 2012 which is when her 5-year contract ended with the company. After she leaves the company she moves to Japan.

She lives in Japan for two years, only coming back to Korea because some of her Japanese friends told her she should continue to try and be an idol since she was good. When she went back to Korea she signed with SM Entertainment who actually debuted her as a soloist shortly after she signed the contract.

She only made one comeback when she decided she no longer wanted to be under SM Entertainment so she tried to get her contract terminated. Once she successes in terminating her contract, in 2015, she auditions for KQ Entertainment who of course takes her in.

In 2016 she is set to debut with Lilac and she is the second member that revealed. When she was introduced she had a wave along with a sun in her profile. The wave and sun symbolize the hot and cold of the idol. She leans more into the wave which symbolizes her ability to easily adapt to new things and the fact that she shows a lot of freedom in her actions even though she has limited freedom as an idol. 

In 2017 she came out as being lesbian and she is really proud of it. During her debut song as a soloist, there was always a rumor that she could’ve been a lesbian but she confirmed it in late 2017. She wants everyone to know they aren’t alone in feeling hated or unwanted and she just wants to take care of everyone.

About Lilac

Lilac originally debuted with four members: Heechul, Hui, Sollie, and K.J

Members Bunji and S.H joined Lilac in 2017.

The group was supposed to debut as a band but KQ Entertainment changed their minds shortly before their debut.

All the members of Lilac know how to play an instrument.

The group did a lot of cute concept from 2016-2018 which most of the members didn’t particularly love.

On November 18, 2018, Hui’s contract with KQ Entertainment expired which started the whole move to Abandoned Entertainment since the members all decided before that they wanted to leave when their contracts expired.

The group originally wanted to move to Jellyfish Entertainment but they didn’t get an answer from them so they went with Abandoned Entertainment which was another company they tried to get into.

When Lilac joined Abandoned Entertainment they changed all their social media names and bios and completely redid their themes.

All the group bios now say “REBLOSSOM 2020.”

The group is currently trying to get used to the new company and only really post on their individual social media.

They are rumored to get more members due to them changing companies.

They do a lot of group lives together.

They post a lot of dance covers on their YouTube channel.

The group as a whole is close to KPop groups KARD, DAY6, @serendipityoffiical and THE ROSE.

The group has not had their first win yet and are extremely underrated according to their fans. (which they are)

The group is currently on a hiatus until 2020 due to being under a new company.

The members are all very friendly and always strive to improve themselves as a group as a whole.

K.J stopped talking about his past after his parents died. He’s really hard to get to open up. Growing up he has always wanted a little brother or sister, so his parents adopted twins in 2003 since they couldn’t have any more kids. 

From the time he was three he was learning how to dance. He took classes and eventually got so good he would busk after school. He’s always been interested in music and his parents were extremely supportive of his dream.

As a kid his parents let him learn as many instruments as he wanted and he didn’t let that go to waste. K.J currently knows how to play 15 different instruments. Piano, ukulele, bass, electric guitar, drums, harp, violin, fiddle, cello, pipa, french horn, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, and flute. 

In 2009 K.J got street cast by YG Entertainment. He accepts and signs a five-year contract. In 2014 the contract is not renewed as K.J felt very mistreated and overworked even for his age. He then signed with KQ Entertainment in 2015.

In 2016 K.J debuted with the group Lilac. He was the third member to be revealed and his profile included a sunflower. The sunflower symbolizes K.J as a person. He’s considered one of the happiest members especially if the other members are happy too. He’s always facing the sun and looking at the bright side of things.

Heechul X Lilac Members

Heechul X Hui; The Puppy and The Tiger

Hui is Heechul's teacher, well she's one of them. She takes really good care of him and keeps his mind at peace. They are referred to as "the puppy and the tiger" or "the moon and the wave" of the group. She always checks up on him and makes sure he's okay. She always helps with his mistakes and will often take the blame for anything he may accidentally mess up. She doesn't want any harm or misfortune to come to him and she would do anything to keep him safe. While he learns a lot from her, she also learns a lot from him. Which is one of the reasons they always bounce ideas off each other. Heechul sees Hui as family and he loves her with all of his hard. He wants to one day be able to help her as much as she's helped him. He really does care about her and wants nothing but success and happiness for the older girl.

Heechul X Sollie; The Puppy and The Wolf

Sollie is Heechul's #1 protector. He always knows he can go to her if he needs someone to protect him. They are referred to as "the puppy and the wolf" or "the moon and the soul" of the group. They are also often called "the mother and son" of the group.  Sollie makes sure that Heechul is healthy and protected at all times. Heechul notices that she really does treat him like a mother would with her child. Sollie loves Heechul so much that sometimes he forgets that they aren't actually related. Sollie keeps checking up on him that it feels weird when she doesn't. She is the female member he closest to in the group. He goes to her a lot when he feels panicky. He learns from her a lot and he is getting to a point where he can easily answer questions he once didn't know. She's also helps him a lot with his words since when they first met he wasn't very good at talking, he's gotten a lot better though.

Heechul X K.J; The Puppy and The Sea Otter

K.J is Heechul's rock. He keeps Heechul in check and makes sure he's okay. They are referred to as "the puppy and the sea otter" or "the moon and the sunflower" of the group. Heechul usually goes to K.J if he needs help with anything or rather K.J goes to Heechul. Heechul doesn't like to ask for help but K.J always seems to know when Heechul needs it. Heechul is super clingy with K.J and he cares a lot about him. K.J is one of the few people Heechul fully trusts. They check up on each other every day and make sure they are both taking good care of each other. They've only fought once and Heechul hated everything about it, but now luckily they seem to be okay and it doesn't seem like they will fight again. They are always taking care of each other and being there for one another. They have so much love and respect for each other. They also learn from each other a lot.

Heechul X Bunji; The Puppy and The Koala

Heechul is so insanely protective of Bunji. He literally would do anything for him. Heechul is the overly protective puppy to Bunji’s shy and reserved koala like self. They are referred to as “the puppy and the koala” or “the moon and the star” of the group. They both learn and grow from each other every day. They are really close and Heechul can’t help but love Bunji a lot. Heechul tries to be flirty with Bunji but he gets shy when Bunji reciprocates it. They are really shy when they are together but they do like spending time together and dancing around for no reason. They are never away from each other for too long and Heechul is very clingy and attached to Bunji. Heechul has a habit of ignoring everyone but Bunji sometimes when Bunji is in the room.

Heechul X S.H; The Puppy and The Fennec Fox

S.H is Heechul’s annoyance. Heechul is the least close to S.H and he can’t figure out why. They are often referred to as “the puppy and the fennec fox” or “the moon and the snowflake” of the group. Heechul loves S.H to death, but she has a habit of annoying the life out of him. He often playfully pushes her away and he teases her, just not as much as she teases him. Fans joke that they bicker and tease each other like a couple does but they know it’s just their dynamic. They may not be the closest but she has the most love from Heechul. He takes really good care of him and he’s one of the few members she is actually okay with babying her. They are just always annoying and stupid together.

Heechul is an only child and he comes from a rather wealthy family. He is really close to his parents and they are very supportive of him wanting to be an idol. He grew up taking vocal lessons and he went to school for contemporary dance. He’s been exposed to music all his life and he knew that he really wanted to be an idol when he grew up from an extremely young age. Heechul had been dancing since he could remember, he says it’s what kept him going.

In 2003 Heechul had moved from their home in South Korea to America. Heechul would’ve been 7 at the time. When in America they enrolled him into a music school as well as his regular schooling. In this schooling system, he learned how to not only sing but play instruments as well. He learned how to play seven different instruments. Piano/keyboard, drums, violin, cello, guitar, flute, and harp.

In 2010 his family moved back to South Korea, mainly because Heechul had asked them to move back. When they moved back is when he started to go to school for contemporary dance. He constantly strives to be better at dancing as he always tries to learn all different kinds of dance, but he always resorts back to contemporary as he is the most comfortable dancing contemporary.

In 2012 he auditioned for Cube Entertainment and got in, but due to mistreatment, he left in 2015. After leaving he had auditioned for several companies but he finally settled for KQ Entertainment.

In 2016 he debuted with Lilac. He was the first member announced and when he was announced his intro had a moon in it. The moon is supposed to symbolize that he is the perfectly imperfect leader of the group. It is supposed to symbolize the hardships that Heechul has been through. 

In late 2017 Heechul is informed that his father is in the hospital. The boy was in the middle of performing with when he was carefully pulled off stage so he could get to the phone. The boy did not finish the concert and instead was instantly taken to the hospital so he could see his father. His father passed shortly after Heechul got there. The boy then went on hiatus after the company makes a statement regarding Heechul’s loss. He didn’t participate in any of the 2018 comebacks.

Growing up Bunji has always had a passion and interest for music. He would wake up early and work on new songs all the time in high school and he would go to sleep early too to make sure he didn’t mess up the schedule. He was always picked on by his friends because he would spend most of his spare time trying to perfect his musical talents.

In high school, he was in band where he learned how to play the tuba. To this day Bunji now knows how to play five instruments. Tuba, flute, drums, bass, and guitar. He also danced a lot growing up and it was another big hobby he had. 

In 2012 he had decided to try for different KPop companies. He had auditioned for fifteen and got a response from five of them. After debating he decided to go with SM Entertainment because his brother said he would try out as well.

Bunji had signed a four-year contract with SM Entertainment and once it ended he decided not to resign it. Instead, he tried out for different companies and only heard back from KQ Entertainment.

In 2017 he had debuted with the already established co-ed group, Lilac. This made him the fifth member to be revealed. His profile included a star. The star symbolizes his position and that he was born to be a star. It also symbolizes the spark he has in him for music.

In early 2019 he had admitted to being bisexual and that he couldn’t help liking boys. He shared that he had shared a kiss with a boy and that it sparked a weird feeling in his heart and he talked to his brother about it. His brother told him to never be ashamed of who he is and that love is love which is a message that Bunji wants to always preach.
