stellar entertainment now has an official site! i spent hours coding it last night, i'm still working on the profiles and stuff, but i'm planning to have a social platform called MilkyWay where artists can post status updates and interact with fans!
ideally, the plan for MilkyWay is for it to not be stellar-exclusive, i want it to be a platform other non-stellar groups can use as well 🙏
what is the dorm situation before they all moved out to live seperately?
🐈 anon
welcome back, 🐈 anon 🫠
do you have your own kpop oc blog by any chance?
because your questions are getting way too precise and perfect for this to be random 😶
i haven't done enough research into the exact locations of their homes, so i'm going to keep those details intentionally vague for now!
roa from snsd
during their rookie era, roa shared a room with yoona in their cheongdam-dong apartment from 2007–2009.
when they moved into their second dorm in apgujeong-dong in 2009, she ended up sharing a room with the manager until 2011.
their third dorm was a luxury high-rise in gangnam, and this was the first time roa had a room entirely to herself. she lived there from 2011 to 2015.
in their fourth dorm, from 2015 to 2021, roa continued to have her own room even as the dorm gradually became smaller because several members had moved out.
around this period, especially as roa was preparing to leave sm, she purchased a premium apartment in a prime neighbourhood of seoul. however, she never actually moved out of the dorms. hybe even offered her an apartment in hannam hill later on, but she turned it down.
and even now, with hyoyeon essentially living alone in the final sns dorm, roa still uses it as her home base. at this point, it's basically hyoyeon's solo apartment with an extra resident. plus, the dorm auntie cooks way too well for roa to willingly give it up.
heart from exo
when exo debuted, heart's parents leased an apartment for her in the same building as the members. since exo was divided into exo-k and exo-m from 2012 to 2014, the arrangement made it easier for her to stay close to the group without necessarily being in the dorm itself.
when the groups merged and moved into a duplex from 2014 to 2018, heart finally got her own room. she had access to quite a few rooms in the apartment, but she very deliberately won over the biggest one with the world's most effective puppy eyes.
from 2018 until the end of her sm contract, heart lived in the group's luxury villa and had a room of her own.
that villa is particularly sentimental to her because it became the place she stayed through some of exo's most difficult years, from xiumin's enlistment all the way until sehun's return and the group's eventual comeback. she spent a ridiculous amount of time decorating and personalising the place until it genuinely felt like hers.
so when heart eventually left sm, she didn't leave the villa behind either. she bought it from the company.
moon from bts
during the pre-debut period, moon initially shared a room with the glam members, but after the group's debut she had to move into bts's dorm.
from 2013 to 2014, the living situation was genuinely ridiculous. moon slept on a floor bed in the hallway while the boys essentially shared their one bedroom.
from 2014 to 2016, she shared a room with v in their four-bedroom gangnam apartment.
when they moved into their five-bedroom apartment from 2016 to 2017, moon technically had her own bedroom, although it was practically closet-sized.
from 2017 to 2022, she finally had a proper room of her own in the hannam hill apartment.
moon had actually purchased a property of her own around the same time the other members began buying theirs, but she didn't immediately move out. she stayed in the dorm until the lease eventually expired and she was basically left with no choice but to move into her own place.
theia from got7
during their debut years, theia shared a room with jackson from 2014 to 2016.
from 2016 to 2017, she temporarily had to stay in a dorm with the twice members because of the whole bug incident.
from 2017 to 2021, she finally got her own room in got7's luxury townhouse, where she continued living until the members eventually left the company.
since 2021, theia has lived in a luxury townhouse of her own.
yian from seventeen
during seventeen's debut era, yian shared a room with joshua, dk and seungkwan from 2015 to 2017.
from 2018 to 2020, during their two-floor dorm era, she lived in an apartment with jeonghan, hoshi, the8, seungkwan, vernon and dino. she finally got her own room after basically threatening to leave because nobody acknowledged that she was a girl in a boygroup.
in 2020, yian purchased a penthouse apartment, where she lived with her grandmother.
however, from 2020 to 2022, she still had to maintain a living schedule in apartment with mingyu and wonwoo during promotions. the two boys shared one room while yian had her own.
after her grandmother passed away, yian returned to the dorm, where she stayed until the end of 2025. she ultimately had to move out once all the members had left and the dorm was no longer being maintained as their shared home.
rosénoir
rosénoir officially moved into their first dorm only a few days after filming for their pre-debut show began.
in that dorm, dove and cat shared the smaller room, while lux, pearl and rue shared the larger one. pearl and rue frequently travelled back to their family homes since their parents lived relatively close to sm's headquarters. they stayed there from mid-2014 until 2015.
after their first anniversary, the girls were rewarded with a much more luxurious duplex. dove and cat continued sharing a room, lux finally got her own, and pearl and rue shared one.
over the years, pearl and rue moved between dorms and their homes, depending on their schedules and circumstances, while still spending plenty of time at their family homes.
in 2019, rosénoir moved into a boutique condominium that was basically designed for them. each girl had her own floor, while they shared amenities such as a pool, gym, recording studio and other common spaces. this is also where their living arrangements became much more flexible.
rue eventually purchased a property in china for her chinese promotions and a home in austin, texas, while pearl bought properties in la and japan. lux also gradually started splitting her time between the dorm and her parents' home. but despite all of them owning properties of their own and, over the years, buying, selling and purchasing new ones, the rosénoir condominium is still their official home. and honestly, they will probably stay there for a very long time.
the reason is less about money or convenience and more about companionship. some of the girls (dove and cat) genuinely don't enjoy living alone, and the members who don't have their parents nearby in korea (also dove and cat) especially don't want to come home to an empty apartment after a long schedule.
so they've essentially created a little rule among themselves: you can move out whenever you want, but the dorm will always be there.
some of them will eventually move out when they get married or take another major step in their lives. others may continue living there indefinitely. they even joke that, eventually, their partners might simply move into the rosénoir dorm rather than the girls moving out.
ultimately, owning a house and wanting to live there are two completely different things for these girls. they've all reached the point where they can afford their own homes, but that doesn't mean they all want to live alone. the dorm has become less of a company-provided accommodation and more of a permanent home they chose to keep for themselves.
hey! i don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but i LOVE the idea of giving your OCs' careers through yearly media articles. it's such a genius way of doing it because it's basically bullet points, but i still get to see her entire career without having to read through a million paragraphs 😭 and it makes it so much easier to pick out random things i want to ask about or request based on a specific year but still keeps the mystery going. genuinely such an awesome idea!!
🐈 anon
🐈 ANON 😭 ILY 💖 YOU’RE LITERALLY THE FIRST PERSON TO NOTICE THIS!!!
and honestly, this makes me so so so happy because that was exactly what I was hoping the yearly media articles would accomplish 😭 I wanted a way to show an oc's entire career without turning every profile into a 15k word biography that nobody has the time or patience to read lol even though i love writing them!
It’s basically my sneaky little way of giving you guys career bullet points disguised as media coverage. you get the major milestones, random scandals, award wins, career changes, little controversies, weird headlines, etc. but there’s still enough left unexplained that you can go “wait. what happened here???” and ask about that specific year.
and yess, the mystery part is intentional!! I actually love leaving little gaps because sometimes I’ll write one completely random headline from 2018 and think, hmm… I wonder what the actual story behind this is 😭
So THANK YOU for noticing, 🐈 anon. You have officially unlocked the “I see what you’re doing” achievement 🏆😭💕
in light of so many people exiting from their groups and companies, who is still in their old company and who has moved on?
🐈 anon
hi 🐈 anon —thank you for the question 💌 and i am loving how you are asking these questions 🫠
roa is the first one to leave sm in 2017, choosing to join bighit under the promise she would have full control over her career. as of now, she has no plans to move out of hybe because things are moving in a good pace for her and she is generally satisfied with the management.
theia is the second one to leave jyp, left with the other members in 2021 and moved to set up her own called, kth.
rosénoir as a whole bought out their music label from sm in 2027, as their contracts with sm—and their nct activities—came to an end.
the entire arrangement was, in many ways, a masterstroke by lux's family's legal team. from the beginning, they understood that rosénoir was unlikely to remain a conventional idol group forever. they structured the group's agreements with enough foresight that, when the girls eventually outgrew sm, they wouldn't have to walk away empty-handed.
although rosénoir was closely associated with sm and participated in the nct system, the group operated through a separate entity by design. their contracts and ownership arrangements were structured with the possibility of independence in mind, ensuring that the girls could retain as much control over what they built as possible.
when their sm/nct contracts came to an end in 2026, rosénoir chose not to simply disband or start over. instead, they collectively bought out their label from sm and took the company independent, retaining the infrastructure, rights, and foundation they had built over the years.
essentially, lux's family's lawyers had bet on the girls long before anyone knew how successful they would become—and made sure that when rosénoir finally walked away from sm, they would do so with the most leverage and benefits possible.
and this was only the beginning. heart eventually joins the label as well, and the company gradually expands beyond music, building its own acting division and developing into a full-fledged entertainment agency.
yian has no intentions of leaving hybe as of now—her decision would only change if the rest of the boys took similar decisions as well.
moon has never considered leaving hybe. her loyalty-to-a-fault mind probably would stay in hybe till death.
heart is in discussions with agencies as her contract is gonna expire soon and when she quits she would be leaving brhind a two decade old partnership with sm.

Oh, you don't know? You don't know about DeepDive? They didn't get you into KPOP? Oh...then who did?! DeepDive is a five member fictional boy group under MYDOL Entertainment that debuted in 2018. While they promote primarily in Korea, they are considered the biggest boy group internationally at the moment. Though wildly successful, hot, and wealthy, the boys are controversial as most MYDOL groups seem to be.
< @user48272 > FINN LEE IS THE BEST IDOL OF OUR GENERATION!!
FINN LEE AKA LEE JUNGWOO was born December 24th 2001 in Miami, Florida but would move to Busan, South Korea with his mother, father, and older brother, Matthew, in 2010. The pair would begin training under MYDOL in 2015 when Finn was 14 and Matthew was 16. Throughout their training, Finn said he felt he was often in his older brother's shadow.
It's no secret to diehard DeepDive fans that the original lineup of the group included Matthew not Finn as Son Jinhwa, Mydol CEO, felt Finn wasn't fit to debut in a group and would suit the soloist route better. Fate had different plans. Matthew would suffer a career ending femur injury, resulting in him being pulled from the DeepDive line up just six months before debut.
Sixteen year old Finn Lee would save the day.
He'd debut as the groups MAIN VOCAL, MAIN RAPPER, and CENTER. Though those are his official positions on the MYDOL website he's also stated he's the leader of the group after Noah stepped down from the position in 2021. Many would argue he is also the face of the group, but if you mention that online you'll run the risk of getting harassed for seven days and seven nights. It's a touchy topic.
Though Finn is a staple in the KPOP community as DeepDive member and soloist, he is not free of his controversies. While most are kept on the downlow by his company and rabid fans, Finn is a notorious club goer and womanizer, being in over seven massive dating scandals throughout his career — that's not even counting the minor ones.
< @user48272 > NOAH SON MADE YOUR FAVORITE SONG!! SPEAK KINDLY!!
NOAH SON AKA SON HANBIN was born Febuaray 1st 1998 in Jeonju, South Korea but would be raised in Seoul where he would attend international school throughout his childhood. Being raised by none other than the CEO of MYDOL himself, Son Jinhwa, and his American mother, Naomi, Noah was destined to be famous. Keeping him from the spotlight for most of his early childhood, Noah has been quoted saying before he started training, he wanted to be a writer or a teacher.
Noah would begin his idol training at MYDOL when he was just 11 years old under the advisory of his father.
"Dad was a great teacher," Noah would say in an interivew with ELLE, "I knew I was going to be the best with him teaching me."
Before his debut, Noah would be a producer for Mydol alongside Finn Lee, both of them quickly climbing the ranks and gaining recongintion in the industry. Noah is the most credited producer under Mydol Entertainment, having over 335 KOMCA-registered songs.
He holds the positions of MAIN RAPPER, MAIN VOCALIST, and LEAD DANCER of the group.
KANG WOOBIN AKA BLUE was born March 1st 2000 in Daejeon, South Korea, but would move to Seoul, South Korea with his father when he was five years old. His father, former co-founder of MYDOL Kang Taekyeon, wasted no time in putting his son in spotlight. Blue would be a child actor by age eight and continue acting even when he began his idol training at thirteen, but is it really training if you know you're going to debut?
Often cited as one of the most known nepobabies in the industry, Blue wears the title with great pride, often being smug about it during interviews to get netzens buzzing about him.
Though his attention seeking ways often get talked about more than his talent, he is, in fact, very talented and a well-trained idol. Mainly known for his smooth vocals and expertise in mastering the most complicated of footwork, he also is known for steadily continuing his acting career and the accolaids he's collected throughout his lifelong acting career.
He holds the positions of VISUAL, MAIN DANCER, and LEAD RAPPER of the group.
< @user48272 > KIWOO HATE MAKES SENSE...HAVING A FACE LIKE THAT WITH A VOICE LIKE THAT? I'D BE MAD TOO!
BAE KIWOO AKA KIWOO was born on May 7th 2002 in Ulsan, South Korea. He is an only child...It shows. Seemingly being the only member who didn't lose his childhood to idol training, Kiwoo would only begin training after being scouted by Son Jinhwa during a school talent show when he was freshly sixteen. Kiwoo would only train for four months before his debut which, undoubtable, gave him a massive ego until he hit his twenties.
Known as the 'mandatory twink' of the group, Kiwoo would stand out amongst the lineup for his soft features, small stature, and effimenit mannurisms he didn't notice until thousands of people online pointed them out. While he's stayed steadfast in who he is and never changed, over the years, it's been noticed that he's become more and more private and closed off from fans.
Kiwoo is the strongest vocalist in the group even if someone with a Finn profile tells you otherwise. His collection of OSTs, ballads, and trot singles are some of the groups highest charting solo works within Korea, making him easily the most beloved member domestically especially amongst older women.
He holds the positions of MAIN VOCALIST and LEAD DANCER of the group.
< @user48272 > IDK IF YOU HAVE TIME TO HATE RIAN YOU HAVE TIME TO GET A JOB!!
SUNG RIAN AKA RIAN was born on July 1st 2002 in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, but was adopted by a Australian couple and was raised in Melbourne, Australia. After jokingly submitting an online audition to MYDOL at fifteen, he would receive a callback less than a week later and relocate to Seoul shortly after, speaking conversational Korean but admittedly having absolutely no idea what he was getting himself into.
Every few months, a post claiming he "wouldn't have debuted in any other group" gains twenty thousand likes before someone inevitably uploads a compilation of him singing live while dancing and everyone pretends the conversation never happened. He's an extremely stable live vocalist, a strong dancer, a decent rapper, and arguably the group's most versatile member when it comes to actually keeping up with whatever concept MYDOL throws at them.
His Australian accent, tendency to say things on livestreams that clearly weren't approved beforehand, and general inability to behave like a properly media-trained idol have made him a favorite amongst Western fans since DeepDive's debut. He's responsible for an embarrassing amount of the group's viral clips, is usually the member shoved in front of a microphone during American interviews, and has repeatedly ranked as DeepDive's most popular member outside of Korea.
Naturally, this has created the equally embarrassing accusation that he's only famous because he speaks English, as if being hot, funny, talented, and chronically online somehow doesn't count.
He holds the positions of LEAD VOCALIST, LEAD RAPPER, and MAKNAE of the group.
