Carell walked over to Tamaki and tapped on his shoulder. He shifted a little nervously, waiting for the man to look at him. "Hey uh... There's a week break coming up right? I ah... I got these." He holds out a pair of tickets to France. "Your mom is still in France right? I thought... You'd like to bring someone and visit her." Carell said and flushed in embarrassment.
"Hm?" When Tamaki felt the tap on his shoulder, he turned around curiously and smiled when he saw his good friend. "Carell—hah what's up—hm what do you have there?" His voice was light and cheerful and full of interest. Tamaki's blue eyes focused on the man before him but when he saw the tickets, his eyes shimmered with unshed tears.
His heart began to ache; even though his grandmother freed him from the restrictions of ever seeing his mother again, it had been far too long since he had last visited.
Like a bolt of lightning, Tamaki grabbed the tickets and hugged them close to his cheek. he nuzzled the precious pieces of paper before he placed a hand on Carell's shoulder.
"Mon ami, I would be honored—" Tamaki placed the tickets back into Carell's hand and he cradled his friend's hand between his own. "First the journal and now this generous gift. How did you get these?" Tamaki wondered.
Tamaki knew Carell's situation and wondered how his friend was able to get his hands on a pair of tickets. Well, honestly, it didn't matter and Tamaki wasn't going to snub such generosity. "Have you ever been to France?" He prompted obviously implying Carell would be taking the second ticket and coming to France with him.
