I feel like a lot of originsmpblr should watch the origin series Niki did with Ori. I nickname it adventures of a blaze boy and fish girl or abbafg for short to tell the two series more easily apart but anyways it really gives a nice characterization to o!niki and also it fits extremely well as a backstory to O!niki! And if you want angst it has that to and plenty of it especially in the last stream! If you would like to find it in its entirety I have a playlist right here!

Wait does anyone remember that that time I think on one of Hbombs streams (it was the one we’re he first brought up the idea of a spelling bee) were Niki made a passing comment about calling a drowned her Brethren/brother or something and no one ever has acknowledged this? (Or I’ve never herd it being brought up by anyone ever) Also how we know for a fact something is up with Shy (Niki’s endermen room mate) because of abbafg we know they were the creature to find Niki and the first thing she can ever remember. So what are the chances abbafg Niki and dsmp Niki are extremely similar in background or literally the same creature. But then that opens up its own can of what the heck worms.

Niki: what if the nether never existed than you would be born her?

Ori: …

Ori: I- I would have loved to be born here. As a mater of fact... I feel like if anything I’d rather be not a blaze than be a blaze. I’d rather be what... look I’m going to tell you something I’ve never told anybody because I don’t know anybody else. Ok it’s going to be in full confidence.

Niki: ok I won’t tell anybody I promise (laughing because she literally only knows Ori and shy)

(Little bit more taking)

Ori: ok look uh some of the endermen in the neather they told me that their was once a race of people. Kinda like us but a little less odd. And they were just humans. I herd that they could do everything absolutely anything! They could hop form dimension to dimension they could be on land they could be under water. They developed these type of antidotes like the one we have now (talking about the water breathing potion) and they aloud themselves to do everything because they had nothing. Nothing was special about them. They couldn’t go into the fire they couldn’t breath underwater. They couldn’t fly they couldn’t bounce. They had nothing and so because of that. They were able to obtain everything.

Niki: that’s just weird... why would you want that.

Ori:chuckles*

Ori: no

Niki: why would you want that why would you want to put away your perks?

Ori: wellll

Niki: i-

Ori: well you see when you’re not a blazeman you can go underwater. And you won’t have to fear the fact that you’ll burn alive. And when your not a Merling you won’t have to fear the fact of not having and oxygen when you go on the top. And I also herd that they could teleport. Like teleport like the endermen!

Niki: teleport?

Ori: I mean not naturally like the endermen but they could do it themselves! Like they figured out a way to do it! They said that they could fly as well at some point. I mean not by themselves but with some sort of object they could use.

Niki: what..?

Ori: I mean they were everything! They could be everything because they were nothing. And I think that’s amazing! And I want that.

Niki: but-

Ori: if I was that if I wasn’t in the nether I wish I could be that. Nothing special. So then I could have the power and the choice to be who I want to be. Instead of being hated by everyone I ever knew.

Niki: I don’t hate you.

Ori: well I know you don’t hate me you’ve show me that.

Niki: yeah I don’t hate you

Ori: but you see I was born in a place where everybody hated me.

Niki: I don’t think you have to be anybody else Ori. You are great the way you are.you don’t have to be something else. We managed to get me to breath on land and to walk on land. So we can manage to get you to not die in the water. You don’t have to be someone else.

Ori: and that’s were I think your wrong Niki. You see I-. We tried the potion right. We tried everything that we could possibly know of. No sort of armor no sort of potion nothing like that will make it so I don’t burn when I cry. Nothing seems to help. And as much as it hurts me I guess I have to accept that. but But BUT! By somehow by some miracle say hey turn me into a human. Take away my blaze powers allow me to burn. Allow me to burn in fire so that I don’t have to burn in fire. Allow me to be stuck on land so that one day I may take to the skies. If I could trade who I am now to be a human I would do that in a blink of an eye. I- I would..

Niki: what are you thinking. Do you believe that?

Ori: I don’t know.

Niki: do you believe that theirs somehow out their someone else who is different? Who’s different from us. Who doesn’t have any weakness? Because as much as we have strength we also have weaknesses. I feel like if their is a person out their who doesn’t have any weaknesses. How is that possible and how is that still human. Not human but normal.

Ori: well no the thing is I think they still have weaknesses. But because they have all of them their not that extraordinary they learn to be something without them. I can’t do that I know that for a fact. I mean you can

Niki: but why do you want to be different? Why do you want to be not extraordinary? You have these cool powers you can swim in fire. I can’t even go near fire without being cooked.

Ori: because I just- I don’t know

Niki: Ori we will get you to the water. But you don’t have to change who you are.

Ori: I disagree... I have to disrespectfully disagree. I wish I wasn’t a blaze born. I wish I was just born human. Ok? Look.

(Jumps into the water)

Niki: no stop! Get out of their get out of their. Ori...

Ori: I can’t stop it. I can’t change this like this I have to change entirely.

Niki: no we will no.

Ori: no I have to be different I have to be born diffent. No- I don’t want to be a nether dweller . I don’t want to have to say I was born in this horrible place were everything hates you. We’re You done even want to go! We’re You don’t even want to stand or take part of!

Niki: because I don’t belong their!

Ori: and I don’t belong here!

Niki: you do belong here!

Ori: I don’t belong here!

Niki: you belong here as much as I belong here. We don’t-

Ori: no I don’t not as I am now

Niki: we don’t have to change you.
