Our friends over at the New York Times are rounding up more exciting Jane Austen news—the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, a new exhibit at Jane Austen's House Museum, and Abbeville's new facsimiles of Austen's juvenilia, the In Her Own Hand series!

Jane Austen wrote her first "books" as an adolescent—these collections of her stories, playlets, verses, and fragments showed hints of Austen's later characters and writing styles. They are also her only works that survive in complete manuscript form. Abbeville is thrilled to be publishing these books, aptly titled by young Jane as Volume the First, Volume the Second, and Volume the Third, this fall!
