is it just me or was there a veryyy slight shippy feelings between Mad Maudie and Rangval the Rogue? Not in a fluffy romantic sense more like an admiring sense? Or they could've just been very chummy. Whatever. I think they were besties forever, Rangval even came to live at/near Salamandastron ffs how often do squirrels do that? Leave me alone.
Also SHOUT OUT to Abbot Daucus, who is arguably the most badass Abbot ever. He carries a sling around in his sleeves, he stands up to vengeful Guosim (bloody smacks Osbil's blade away when he holds it to Maudie's throat) then leads the bally charge with Orkwil to rescue the heroes on the plateau.
