odette marks trees as checkpoints when she's in the forest.

she marks them with the distances from the starting point at the edge of the woods to keep track of how deep into the forest the other hunters and herself explore. by doing that she's managed to track habits of certain species of animals and can guess where the best place to start looking for them is.

sit .   gesture  for  my  muse  to  sit  down she didn't know what this was about and it was making her nervous. apparently it was so important that she had to leave her shift at the restaurant early. odette gave a knock on the door and entered the room, the confusion clearly written over her face. "xavier? hi. what's this about?"
