Silly Rabbits

Zinc spent the night at Whitney's Kennel. So, I had two horse sized dogs and a weinie dog in my room last night. That means I had to load these creatures into the car this morning.

All was fine and dandy until we got to the point in our routine where I slip Abby's rope off so she can load up in the car. At that exact moment, Zinc caught a glimpse of the rabbit she had been sniffing out.

Picture this: Rabbit takes off in a full sprint. Zinc immediately pounces and gives the command for Abby to follow. The chase is on as I run (jog), screaming at my crippled doggie through the neighbor's yard. Halfway through our debacle, I realized my weinie dog was still attached to his rope and being drug through the neighbor's yard since his little, old man legs won't keep up with the pace.

I finally retrieved Abby and leashed her. Zinc did not catch the silly rabbit. Skeeter still doesn't know what happened.

It looked like a scene from Beethoven.
