also there was a meeting just behind the door just here on the left wall but i kinda concealed my screaming to stay discreet

and i just went out like this

yeah im not related to any employee or smth at all i just was curious and only realize afterwards that what i just did was probably illegal and i also could have as well put a bomb or something

Raining One Day, Overcast the Next!

Raining one day, overcast the next, and after that the weather got worse! That was my Brisbane experience last week as I arrived to photograph the ABC Headquarters building for my long-term client, Fethers Architectural Glass. My task was to highlight their Super Neutral on Light Grey glass.

I shot the first day, despite rain and wind (umbrella held over my camera), as the cloud also gave a soft glow to the glass, and prayed to the weather gods for better tomorrow as I had to leave for Sydney by 11am.

Surprisingly, the second day dawned bright and blue (but only for a few hours). On site very early but the light, although bright, was not right. It was coming from the wrong direction. So...time for a coffee and wait...

The gods smiled, briefly rewarding persistence and determination, and I captured the different components I needed for the final images as I had planned from the day before. An hour later it was pouring rain again!

The dynamic range of a large RAW file certainly helps overcome the adversity of nature and a deadline. Oh, for the time and space to wait three days for the right light and weather like Edward Weston!

Modern technology plus an eye and a plan for the final image meant I delivered my images and my client was happy. Here's a couple of before and afters. See the finished images.
