eddie’s prone to passing out right after. thanks to venom, he can get a sort of adrenal fatigue where he’ll be so pumped up with adrenaline that he can quickly shut down and become exhausted right after, so sex tends to knock him out pretty fast. if he doesn’t fall asleep immediately after, it’s probably because he either has to get up for work or something, or because venom is keeping him awake for one reason or another. their sleep schedules are inconsistent nowadays, so if eddie doesn’t get enough sleep the previous night, he’s gonna be passed the hell out after sex. he’s a super deep sleeper at times too.
venom doesn’t sleep, though sometimes he may ‘pretend’ to be alongside you and eddie to kinda fit in, in which case he’ll only do that if you’re both asleep. otherwise venom’s not sleeping and will be wide, wide awake. when you guys are sleeping is when he can better observe the two of you. if either of you are struggling in sleep, if you’re having bad dreams or are unable to get comfortable, venom is a good support. he will collect himself over your chests and simulate a sort of purring sensation as his way of trying to soothe you. if you like being snuggled close, venom will gently pull you and eddie into a warm embrace and won’t let you guys free until you’ve woken up.
