Peace be upon You, On a night like this, year 252 AH, 15th of Shawal the honorable Sayyid, King of Tehran, Abdul 'Atheem al-Hassani passed away. He was from the lineage of Imam al-Hassan, peace be upon him, great traditionist, scholar, jurist he was. He reached a status in which Imam Hadi, peace be upon him, has said: Whoever visits him is like one who visits al-Husayn b. 'Ali in Karbala. If you look into his life you will discover that this status was attained because of his complete and utter submission to his Imams, especially #ImamJawad and #ImamHadi (peace be upon them) as he was considered amongst their companions. To conclude, I have this report I translated which outlines his knowledge, the Imam himself tells his companion if you are in doubt or have questions in your religion, ask 'Abdul Atheem. Abū Tūrāb al-Rayīwānī, he said: I heard Abū Hamād al-Rāzī say: I entered upon my master in Samarra and asked him various questions in the field of Islamic Law and he answered me. When I was about to leave he said to me, “O Aba Hamād, if you have doubt (or come to a question) in the matters of your religion than ask ‘Abdul al-Athīm b. ‘Abdullah al-Hassanī and send him my greetings.
