I just LOVE how protective of Yukiya both Sumio and Wakamiya are.

They are always shielding him from danger. That's their baby and if anyone wants to hurt him, it'll have to over their dead bodies!

They are so family to me!

Went to the Kyoto pop up for yatsugarasu series! I would say this one is way nicer than the Osaka pop up as there are more exclusive collaborations with Kyoto craftsmen (I bought a towel here, close to getting the bag but it was way too expensive af) and some anime exclusive items like blind boxes and circular standees (though I find them too huge for my own good and not cheap) and plus the bookstore is pretty nice to hang out (there is a bar and cafe inside)

@yatagarasuarchive I hope this will interest you! I think the pop up is up to April 20th but Osaka is much shorter per se but there is a huge following for this series so it was advertised heavily in the bookstores!

Hi....if you don't mind me asking, can I ask your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from Yatagarasu : The Raven does not Choose Its Master? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Sorry if you've answered this question before....Thanks....

My top 5: 5-Shiratama (because of her age, beauty,love story and choice).4-Rokon (he's huge and has unique personality, a warrior monk with a secret from his stormy youth), 3-Natsuka (Best Elder Brother and how he's confronted with harsh life reality),2-Hamayuu (a tomboy Heian lady with a sound head on her shoulders who really loves her True Golden Raven),1-Sumio (the most handsome and skilled bodyguard, close friend of True Golden Raven and Yukia's "elder brother" in the Palace. And also because I know from the books what awaits him in the future).

Best Yatagarasu anime moments: 5-Yukia beating Ichiryuu, 4-Sumio interfering with wakamiya's assassins in the Ravine,3-the love story of Shiratama and Kazumi,2-the cannibal monkeys feasting on yatagarasu in the village, 1-wakamiya's proposal to Hamayuu.

Who is Sumio from Abe's point of view?

A good young man from a commoner background whose life has been forcibly turned into a challenge because he ended up becoming friends with the young prince while the latest was wandering for some reason. He is a hard-working man with a good head on his shoulder, a good personality, and he is athletic, but with not much luck. Don't be afraid of him!
