Aahhhhh!!!
Chisato Abe’s comments
To my great gratitude, I have been given the opportunity to have a special collector’s edition of the Yatagarasu series made.
The collection itself will include “Karasu ni hitoe wa niawanai” and *Karasu wa aruji wo erabanai,” but it will come with a cover illustration and an acrylic stand, both created as brand-new work by Natsuki.
The concept for the cover illustration is commemorative images of historical great figures at Yamauchi.
On the cover of the collector’s edition, you’ll see Asebi and Yukiya, who play the roles of the protagonists at the beginning of the series; on the back cover, you’ll see the Omurasaki no Omae (The Empress) at the end of the second part of the series and the Marquis (Sessai).
The artwork for the back cover is scheduled to remain undisclosed until the release, but it is truly wonderful!
In a sense, as a commemoration of the Yatagarasu series reaching its conclusion, I hope you will pick it up.
The main stories. The start of it all. The retail price of the luxury commemorative edition (which includes an afterword of Chisato Abe, her signature and cloth binding, etc.) will be around 50 euros (8,800 ¥) that includes the acrylic stands of the trio, plus a postcard of Yukiya if you order it at the Kinokuniya Bookstore or other participating bookstores. This coincides with the Kinokuniya’s 100th anniversary. Most of all, to celebrate the release of the last two books in the series this year.
Oh my God! I want it all!
