Rei had, had a crush on one girl in particular that went to their school. He found himself always thinking about her, to the point that even Nagisa pointed it out. Of course the blonde told Rei to go talk to her, but the butterfly was far too shy to do such a thing.

One day before a meet he saw her sitting in the audience and he decided that he would take this chance to ask her out….or well at least talk to her.

Dressed in only his swimsuit he casually approached her and smiled, a flush staining his cheeks as he tried to gather up the courage to say something but before he could she leaned up and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek before bidding him good luck.

"T…thank you" he flushed watching her sit back down before Nagisa pulled him away since they were up to swim next. "Good job Rei-kun!!" Nagisa winked.

Rei would definitely swim his hardest today. He couldn’t let her see him make any mistakes.
