Golden Years (Task)
It was 1953 and the sun had already gone down by the time Stephanie Kimble arrived in Las Vegas for the first time. She had just been transfered from France. After a fair amount of time working for Hell, she would finally have a taste of what the real world was like. The City of Sin is a big dream gig for a succubus, and Stephanie was excited to put her talents at test.
"You're gonna love it here!" Exclaimed one of the other succubi that was assigned to show Stephanie around. What was her name again? Clara? No, Claire. Stephanie was way too distracted by the huge crowd forming on a corner of the casino to pay attention to the girl.
"What's going on?" Stephanie asked with a raised eyebrow while nodding towards the group of people.
"Ibrahim." She waved her off, as if the blonde should know what that was.
"Is that a game?" Stephanie tried to guess, clearly confused.
The girl laughed exposing her lipstick stained teeth and grabbed Stephanie's arm as she walked into the crowd, trying to get as close to the stage as possible. And the stage looked a lot like a table that was ready to thrown away. "It's magic."
Stephanie was about to tell her how that didn't make any sense, when the star finally came out. He was tall and very good looking, which took Stephanie by surprise when she noticed his aura for the first time. Ibrahim was a demon, and probably her boss.
"That's Ibrahim. He's the head demon of Las Vegas, so you better pretend like you enjoy the show. You know, to make a good first impression." Stephanie didn't know if it was funny or lame that such a powerful demon would waste his time doing magic tricks in front of humans, but she decided to take the girl's advice and pretend she thought it was all amazing. He started out with some standart card tricks, receiving half-hearted applause from the audience. Ibrahim threw his hat to the crowd and a winning smile spread across his face as he heard little screams of excitement coming from the girls near the stage. Inspired by that, Ibrahim then made a great show by setting his juggling pins on fire. This brought the applause to a standstill, and some of the people that were closer to the stage shifted uneasily.
"Is that a good idea?" Stephanie whispered to her friend.
"It never is," remarked Claire.
"What do you mean nev-"
Whitin 30 seconds after lighting the pins, Ibrahim had begun juggling... and promptly set his cape on fire. People gasped and screamed as he flung it off him onto the stage. He stomped on it until the flames were out, and when he lifted it up again, a dove emerged from underneath it, flying up into the air, much to the awe and delight of the spectors. Stephanie, however, wasn't impressed since she knew it was easy for a demon to perfom something like that.
He performed a few scarf tricks, most of which went off without a hitch, and then came to stand in the center of the stage, face grave. "For my next trick, I need a volunteer." His eyes fell on Stephanie almost immediately. "A lovely volunteer." Claire raised her hand, along with others in the audience. When Stephanie didn't move, her friend elbowed her until her hand went to the air as well.
After a few seconds, Ibrahim got off the stage only to offer his hand to Stephanie. She accepted his hand, even though she was a little nervous about being set on fire or having birds coming out of her-
"Just shape-shift into any outfit that comes to mind," he muttered in her ear, his voice sending chills down her spine.
Once they were on stage, he kicked into showman mode. "What's your name, lovely assistant?"
"Stephanie," she said out loud, but quickly corrected herself. "But don't call me that."
He clearly didn't like people giving him orders, but he just forced a smile and nodded.
"So, Steph..." He shot her a charming smile, showing her that he had listened. "Just relax and let the magic float into you." Steph tried hard not to laugh and nodded as he held a curtain attatched to a hoop and a handle. He kept it over her head and let the curtain fall, covering her body entirely. He dragged the handle down after a few seconds and made up magic words and the audience applauded when Steph was now wearing clothes identical to Ibrahim's. He laughed in approval and covered Steph one more time.
When the curtain went down, she was wearing a tight red dress that made her hips stand out, and her pale skin look even colourless. She could have sworn that she heard an unf coming from the demon. "One more." He said before repeating the process and raising his eyebrows to Steph's final choice: a bunny outfit. Easter was close, so she decided to go for it to impress her new boss. It was tight-fitting and included ears at the top of her head and a cute little cotton ball for a tail. She looked like the human (or succubus) form of all playboy girls in one. The crowd went crazy, and Ibrahim looked pleased. He shoud be, after Steph humiliating herself like that in front of 100 people.
"Thank you, Stephanie." He said as she kissed her hand on stage. He had a challenging look in his face, pleased with himself for calling her that.
Steph wanted to stab him to death or even suck all the life-force out of him, but they were in public, so she just smiled and said, "The pleasure was all mine, Abe."
