The Little Cop book 18 available
Luke was finding it hard to sit still and just recover after his surgery, especially when he was around Abel when he was in headspace.
Luckily, the little was more than vocal enough to tell his mommy to go rest while he and daddy took care of everything. At least Abel had found his way back to his big headspace again and was slowly gaining the ability to get there more often, making it easier to keep an eye out on mommy and daddy.
Jack was happy to see everyone recover, but sometimes the feeling of inadequacy overtook him despite the assurances of both his partners that he was doing more than expected. There were moments he simply felt overwhelmed, but with both Abel and Luke getting better, his own mental healing process was slowly happening as well.
