Rae had been asked to tend to the dogs for the CCPD. According to the sergeant, they were due for a good bath. They had been dropped by in the morning and requested someone from the shop bring them back after closing. Rae laughed to herself that it was like they were being treated to a day off. So she pampered them as such, bathed them, took care of their nails and dental hygiene, and got them nice and relaxed with as many belly rubs she could afford during the day. And she slipped them a couple treats. Now, as the last client had picked up their furry companion, Rae got the German Shepherd and the Belgian Malinois all ready for their walk back to the CCPD.
Making their way through the city, the building came into view. Just outside on the side of the building stood a man that looked as though he worked here. “Excuse me.” She called out, holding up the leashes. “Hello! Do you have any idea who I drop these guys off to?”
