RULES

1. Express your love for the indispensable Seneschal of the von Valancius Dynasty by sharing your interpretations of the prompts above in the #abelard week 2025 and/or #abelardweek2025 tag, or @ ing this blog!

2. Since this event is focused on Abelard, he should ideally be the central character of each submission. However, the presence of other characters is welcome and encouraged! You can write fanfic from the point of view of another character, for example, if it goes in-depth into their thoughts about Abelard.

3. Submissions may include, but are not limited to, transformative fan works like gifs, screenshots, fanart, fanfiction, crafts, cosplay, or wargame mini photography! We do not set a "skill level" or "fandom fame" threshold and only ask that you express your love for the Seneschal with your human hands and mind, not Abominable Intelligence.

4. While brand-new submissions are highly encouraged, this will not be strictly enforced, as we all know November is a low-energy season for a lot of people. You are allowed to reupload/self-reblog older works that you think fit the prompt(s) of the day, but make sure @ this account in reblogs because they won't show up in the tags unless it's a blank-(data)-slate reupload.

5. Platonic, romantic, and sexual interactions are all highly sought after. While in canon, Abelard expresses devotion towards women (such as Theodora and his late wife Quatharina), don't let that stop you! Take that knee maintenance ritual with Pasqal to unexpected places! Just make sure to clearly tag your kinks.

6. Each day offers two prompts to choose from. Feel free to play around with them or combine them as you see fit! You can also create something for the prompt that has struck your fancy earlier or later than on the respective day!

7. Do not get so carried away by the grim darkness of the far future as to act hateful or aggressive to your fellow human beings on the other side of the cogitator. Be kind and respectful.
