funniest character:

favorite season: s6, my beloved. right off the bat, we’ve got drive (a top-ten ep, imo). and vince gilligan continues his streak of brilliance with tithonus, and a couple of collaborative projects (dreamland, monday, three of a kind). there’s msr (triangle, the rain king, arcadia), and a couple of outstanding character studies (how the ghosts stole christmas, field trip). even the mythology is halfway decent. but the season’s also more than just the sum of its parts… coming off of a blockbuster film and having just made the move from vancouver to la, the show doesn’t miss a beat. it’s the most fun, but it’s also the most self-aware. that’s what makes it, unequivocally, my favorite.

favorite episode: bad blood! a rashomon effect written and executed to absolute perfection, i’ve rewatched it maybe more than any other ep of television. ever.

favorite romantic ship: msr, period.

favorite family ship: i’m assuming this would mean my favorite familial relationship because, you know, we’re not tryna make it weird. but i’ve gotta go with (dana) scully and melissa, i’d always wished we could’ve seen more of those two before missy’s death.

favorite friend ship: it’s still msr. call it what you want; soulmates, twin flames, etcetera. they’re near-perfect opposites, holding one another accountable and challenging each other to be better investigators/partners/individuals, every single day. each is the other’s tether, the only other person in the world who honestly and truly sees them. and at the end of the day, the fact that they’re in love is just a bonus.

worst ship: the day i see scully/csm fic on this site is the day i log off, forever.

ok so whenever i'm giffing narcos s1e2 or s2e3 i obviously rewatch certain scenes ...... like i'm skipping through the episode and then i realize i somehow ended up near those scenes so i might as well watch them, you know

but i also love rewatching checkmate and best laid plans, and the bar fight scene from kingsman 2 and that first scene maxwell lord has at the museum because that's really funny

29) Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?

Aside from me championing "clipped wings, broken thing" 'til my last breath? I think maybe my Bud/Reader fic "Power Play." I posted it before I cross-posted to tumblr and I'm too lazy to bring it over so I'm sure it's partially my fault, but I love how I wrote Bud and I think it's a fun little fic.

48) What’s your favourite trope to write?

I really love... people who feel broken or out of place and come together to either revel in or heal that hurt. I feel like that's the greatest commonality that you'll see in my fics across the years and years that I've written.

50) If you could write only angst, fluff or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?

Fluff. Easily. I only really like writing angst in the context of hurt/comfort or with the knowledge that there will be fluffier catharsis, and I write smut to play with character dynamics (genuinely--my flavor of ace is generally the sex indifferent variety). I can do that with fluff and enjoy myself more long-term, I think. But I also don't think I'd write anywhere near as much fic if I were limited to one genre.
