Why didnt the Grabber kill Finney after he became a “naughty boy” after trying to escape?

Can someone explain the game The Grabber played, and why he didnt move on to the “favorite part” after knocking Finney out? Unless was he taunting him to like.. get him to act up one more time then kill him (and why it showed him shopping for the supplies to hide a body)
