🔥 FAN THE FLAMES 🔥 🤔 What do you think your spiritual gifts are? As you consider the gifts that God has given you. 💁🏽‍♀️ How can you keep those burning bright? 💁🏽‍♀️ What will you do to make sure that the fire for Jesus does not die? Fan into flame the gifts of God He wants you to remember and rekindle the unique and every precious gift that you have to offer the world. Renew that spark that He placed in your heart and become the person that He is calling you to be. 📖 2 Timothy 1:6‭-‬7 That is why I remind you to fan into flame the gracious gift of God, [that inner fire—the special endowment] which is in you through the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination]. 🙏🏾 GOD WILL CATCH YOU 📖 Matthew 14:30 But when he saw [the effects of] the wind, he was frightened, and he began to sink, and he cried out, “Lord, save me!” When Jesus said, "Come," Peter climbed over the side of the boat and walked on water. Aside from Jesus, no other person in human history had ever done such a thing—not even the greatest of Israel's prophets. That moment of victory didn't last long, though. At some point between leaving the boat and making it to Jesus' side, Peter's human doubt seems to catch up with his enthusiastic faith. He suddenly notices the ferocious wind and the size of the waves it was driving up. Fear takes over his faith, and when you're trying to walk on water, there's no margin of error. Peter begins to sink, crying out to Jesus to save him. It's essential to notice that Peter's total confidence in the power of Jesus allowed Him to walk on the water, as Jesus did. It was fear replacing confidence which caused him to sink.
