There are TWO characters in all media history I’d trust with my life, and they’re both called numbers.
Before I start, I want to say this post is made with love and respect. These are my personal headcanons for my AU, not me saying there is only one way to interpret these characters. Hair, culture, and identity are all very personal topics, so I tried to approach this thoughtfully. A huge thank you to my friend @sammyrobinson87 for helping me research and talk through these ideas with me!
I wanted to explore how Lincoln's family could have different hair textures and how those traits could show up differently between siblings. Their father has a more Afro-textured curl pattern, with thicker density, more volume, and a stronger curl presence. Their mother has a looser European hair texture, with a smoother pattern and different styling needs. The kids each inherit different combinations of those traits, which is why their hair looks and behaves differently from one another.
ForCree, I have her having 3C curl pattern, which means she has tighter, more defined curls compared to Abby. Her curls are smaller, springier, and have more density, giving her hair a fuller and more textured appearance. Out of the siblings, Cree takes after their father more in terms of curl pattern and volume.
Because of her hair texture, Cree has always had a closer relationship with hair care and styling. A cute headcanon I have is that when Cree and Abby were younger and still very close, Cree was the one who loved doing Abby’s hair. She would experiment with different styles, add bows or accessories, and make her little sister feel special
For the unnamed brother I called Malcolm, Ibimagine him inheriting more traits from his mother’s side of the family. He has a 2B hair texture, meaning his hair has loose waves with an S-shaped pattern rather than forming defined curls. His hair has movement and volume, but it sits closer to a wavy texture.
Out of the siblings, Malcolm’s hair is the closest to their mother’s texture, showing how genetics can vary even within the same family. While his sisters inherited stronger curl patterns from their father, Malcolm represents another side of their family’s genetics. His hair is a reminder that mixed families don’t all have one single look, each person can inherit different pieces of both parents.
Abby is the sibling who feels like the strongest blend of both parents. I imagine her having a 3A curl pattern, which means she has loose, defined curls with a lot of bounce and natural volume. Her curls are softer and looser compared to Cree’s 3C curls, but she still has the thickness, fullness, and texture that she inherited from her father’s side.
Out of the siblings, Abby’s hair sits between Malcolm and Cree’s textures. She does not have the looser waves that Malcolm inherited from their mother, but she also does not have the tighter curl pattern that Cree has. Instead, Abby represents a middle ground, showing how children from the same parents can inherit different combinations of traits.

HEIGHT: 4'11 ½ ft
THREAT LEVEL: ★★★★★ (Master of Stealth / High Tactical Intellect)

[BIO-LOG / TACTICAL DESCRIPTION]
Subject 05 remains entirely uninfected, relying on her sharp instincts and unmatched street-smarts to run the wasteland's premier candy trade outpost. Her dark hair is now grown longer, woven into intricate braids with dark maroon-red highlights throughout, featuring a single braided strand framing the right side of her face while the rest is gathered into a half-up, half-down low bun tucked beneath her signature red newsboy cap. Her classic red shirt finally fits her perfectly, worn with a casual style that is neatly tucked in the front but left loose and flowing in the back. Her lower half consists of rugged, worn white jeans adapted into durable cargo pants, secured by a heavy utility belt and anchored by her classic white sneakers. Her hands are protected by black fingerless gloves, though her entire left wrist is heavily wrapped in thick white survival bandages. Her right ear is adorned with her classic hoops alongside a new, silver helix piercing, while a heavy golden chain rests prominently around her neck. On her right wrist, she wears two distinct fishtail friendship bracelets, one for the unified sector group and one in Kuki’s specific colors. Finally, a rubber respirator mask hangs loosely around her neck, ready to be pulled over her face the second she leaves the safety of her outpost to scout the soot-choked ruins.
[2x4 TECHNOLOGY LOADOUT]
Primary Weapon: S.M.G. (S.U.G.A.R.-M.A.C.H.I.N.E.-G.U.N.)
(Sweetly Ultra-compressed Granulated Ammunition Rapid-fire Motorized Artillery-Chassis High-velocity Infantry-weapon Neutralizing Enemies)
Range: Mid-Range Rapid Fire
DESCRIPTION: The S.U.G.A.R.-M.A.C.H.I.N.E.-G.U.N. is a high-rate-of-fire tactical weapon built entirely around a discarded motorized hand mixer and a rusted metal toaster body. The main chassis utilizes the toaster's hollow shell to house a complex internal flywheel mechanism powered by a taped-up 9V power tool battery pack. A length of copper pipe acts as the barrel, stabilized by a crude wooden stock salvaged from an old kitchen cabinet drawer. Mounted to the top of the toaster frame is a large, inverted plastic funnel that serves as the gravity-fed magazine, filled to the brim with rock-hard, crystalline white sugar cubes. When Abby pulls the trigger, the motorized mixer blades violently shred and compress the sugar cubes into dense, high-velocity granulated pellets before blasting them out of the copper barrel with a high-pitched, buzz-saw roar. The weapon unleashes a blistering storm of sweet, sharp shrapnel capable of shredding through the clothing and outer tissue of advancing Stage 1 Uniformed in seconds.
Secondary Weapon: B.O.L.O.
(Bouncing Organic Licorice Ordinance)
Range: Mid-to-Long Range Trajectory
DESCRIPTION: The B.O.L.O. is a silent, projectile-launching throwing weapon crafted from a heavy-duty, red plastic bicycle brake lever assembly wired directly to a thick, flexible fiberglass rod salvaged from a broken radio antenna. The weapon utilizes custom-made kinetic bolas as ammunition, which Abby carefully constructs by binding two heavy, solid jawbreakers together using strings of incredibly stretchy, industrial-strength black licorice rope. To prime the weapon, Abby hooks the licorice string into the notched tip of the fiberglass antenna rod and pulls back, bending the rod into a tense, vibrating arc. When the brake lever is squeezed, the tension is released, launching the spinning jawbreaker bola through the air with a faint, deadly thwip sound. Upon making contact with a target, the spinning weights cause the sticky, unbreakable licorice ropes to violently wrap around the enemy's legs or neck, pinning their limbs together and slamming them face-first into the dirt to completely halt their advance.
MELEE: S.Y.R.U.P.-S.T.I.C.K.
(Solidified Yard-long Reinforced Ultimate Pipe-fitting Sweetener-coated Tactical Infantry Bludgeon)
Range: Close-Quarters Combat
DESCRIPTION: The S.Y.R.U.P.-S.T.I.C.K. is a sleek, devastatingly effective two-handed melee weapon built from a yard-long section of a heavy, solid brass curtain rod that Abby has modified for silent, close-range execution. The handle area is heavily wrapped in textured, non-slip purple bicycle handlebar grip tape, providing a secure hold even in wet or bloody conditions. To give the weapon its unique, lethal stopping power, Abby has heavily coated the top half of the brass rod in a thick, boiled layer of maple syrup and industrial adhesive that has cooled into a rock-hard, crystallized resin jacket. This jagged, amber-colored outer shell is studded with broken shards of thick glass soda bottles embedded deeply into the hardened sugar matrix. When swung with Abby’s precise, fluid agility, the weapon cuts through the air silently without a whistle, delivering an incredibly sharp, heavy impact that can cleanly slice through parasitic shadow-veins or shatter the calcified defenses of an isolated target without making enough noise to alert the rest of the neighborhood horde.
