TOEFL is like a joke. You majored in english. Wtf. Show them the blog its better than any TOEFL exam. Also I love you and I hope you get exactly what you want from next year.

I have no fucking clue what their problem is. It's a shame that's were I'd most like to go, since it's the Human Rights program.

I's really like to have a year off from studying. Work could be fine, it would give me experience, money, and I can mostly let go of it at the end of the day. School is too round-the-clock for me right now. I only have 4 courses and my thesis this semester but I am just so fucking tired and exhausted all the time, and its not just my fucked up sleeping habits. I think last semester almost burned me out and I'm still dealing with that. 

Luckily I got my Dad to shut up about my future prospects after a while. Do my parents really think I haven't thought of all this stuff? It's my fucking future on the line, the future I've been planning since I was fucking 15. I know that as tired as I am, if Helsinki accepts me, I'm going there and doing public international law. I know that if HEL Uni doesn't accept me, I'll just look for a job, after the summer. I will honestly shut down if anyone tried to get me to do something productive during July and August. I cannot do it.  

I know not getting accepted is perfectly normal when applying for the first time. My application was very unfinished, missing information, I didn't have all my credits etc. That's normal. Also the acceptance rate is like 2,5% tops. And I'm trying to leave all the panic about my future for next year. Because if I don't get anywhere when I apply with a completed degree and thesis,what the fuck am I gonna do? Unfortunately I'm someone who keeps thinking forward, so I keep thinking about that already. And I hate it. I don't need my parents to worry about this already too. 

(I've been realizing I've been studying and/or working since I was 19 except for summers. Don't I deserve to be not-in-school and unemployed for a bit? Assuming my country still allows that)

Maggie Q does things to me too. Plus I am overly invested in Nikita and - have you finished the pilot, I don’t want to spoil you. But its probably one of the most complex and emotionally satisfying relationships I have seen on TV.

Yes! I am on episode 2 right now. I actually thought that twist was really well done. For a moment I thought it was Shane West's character that was feeding her information. I like this a whole lot more. 

I also am really liking Melinda Clarke's character. She's got like this evil den mother thing going on and I'm digging it.

like for me, this show was perfect..TWINS- one who had a rocky relationship with another sister- so three different sister dynamics. and two different moms (one of whom was CC) how could this show let me down so badly

but also the show let you down really badly because the title song totally pulls you in a sutton is a lying manipulative murderer..

Yeah I mean even the intro when you have one twin pulling the other underwater, despite looking like she was just holding hands and the song too, like I totally expected an evil as evil could get Sutton and then we'd see glimpses but it's almost like they didn't want to go there? I mean maybe they got self-aware that they really were getting too much into Pretty Little Liars territory? IDK.

But yeah, just a disappointment all around.

like, i am fine with sutton not being close to laurel but i am not okay with laurel and sutton not loving each other deep down inside- especially since we saw that sutton was utterly manipulative but she had her good points. i dont like the idea that  sisters who were raised together didn’t love each other especially since sutton wasn’t psychopathic..just manipulative and selfish..and truly cared for ted and kristen to some extent.

Yeah, you got the sisters thing and I love you for it. But as soon as they made Emma be all good and nice, I really wanted Sutton to be pure evil. I wanted them to really make Sutton as terrible as Alison, capable of murder and manipulation and everything else. I just love the whole good twin bad twin thing, even though it is so overdone and so soapy. That is why I love it. Blame my soap loving self. If you're going to do a primetime teen soap, go all the way with it!

OHMYGOD!! my only ship for the show was kristen and rebecca…with an extra helping of raising their children together. and ofc, all i wanted was for both kristen AND rebecca to recognize that they both the twins for the special creatures they were.

and i wanted sutton/laurel bonding which i never got. and i wanted rebecca to interact more with her girls and just once show that she truly loved THEM- her babies- not ted, who was my least fave guy

Jordan was Rebecca's stepson, the one that was working with her, who made the phone call to frame Ted and then he flipped and started helping the girls. 

Like I didn't really want Rebecca bonding with the girls because I kind of appreciate her as this psychopath mastermind. But I don't like the reasons behind it (to get Ted back). I would have liked it better if Alec and Ted conspired to steal her babies and now she was back to ruin their lives. Not so much as a mother but just as a bad ass villain. As the same, I also like Sutton as the manipulative twin. I kind of like that she wasn't close to Laurel and she didn't really want to be friends with Emma. I guess I just like that bad twin trope too much. Too many soaps.

At least we can both agree on Rebecca/Kristen though LOL

tbh, i started watching when I knew CC would appear. And could never binge watch it. In fact, i only managed to finish it because i watched it with my friend and we mocked almost every character there.

it’s similar to PLL except that it’s kinda hard to tell what the central mystery after a while- and the lady friendships are not as centered. plus, you think everyone’s pretty shallow to love emma as much as sutton without suspecting anything so..

again, the relationships dont pack such a punch because sutton and emma are so easily interchangeable. And there’s too much focus on boy drama. On the other hand, always here for sisters and CC looks good enough to eat.

I mostly have it on in the background while I clean or do laundry and things like that. I don't need to pay as much attention as I do with PLL. So I can have it on while I'm cooking. I think I'm only like four or five episodes in? But I did notice it's based on the books which were written by the same person who wrote the PLL books. But right now the only one I know anything about is Emma (like she is smarter than Sutton or applies herself more? And she's better at tennis than Sutton. And she has artistic ability).

But who are they supposed to remind me of? LOL

oh god the lying game is really bad, i tried watching it in my desperate search for something similar to pll but it’s nothing like pll and it’s just bad

Ugh, this does not bode well for me. Luckily it's only 30 episodes and then when it's done, it's done. My love for CC is that strong (not strong enough to pick up when it was airing though)
