Welcome! A Brief Guide to Surviving Anime Boston 2015
The door are open, badges are being distributed, and our long wait is over. Anime Boston 2015 is here! Hellofrom the Official Anime Boston blog, where we’ll be bringing you coverage andphotos all weekend long, starting with a few pointers to help you make the most of this weekend.
Download the Guidebook app! Over the weekend the schedule may change. The best way to keep up to date with these changes is by downloading the Anime Boston schedule in the Guidebook app, on iPhone or Android.
Obey instructions from staff! Anime Boston is known as one of the best organized conventions around, but that only works with you listen to and follow instructions from our staff.
Plan ahead! Lines are an unfortunate fact of life in anime conventions, and Anime Boston is no exception. For major events, be prepared to get in line 15 minutes, or even 30 minutes in advance.
Follow the 6-2-1 Rule! That’s 6 hours of sleep a day, 2 full meals a day, and 1 full shower a day. Nothing ruins your con faster than fainting from exhaustion or starvation, and nothing ruins other people’s con like being stuck in close quarters with someone who has not showered. Take care of yourself, be considerate of others, and you may yet avoid the con plague.
Follow these simple rules and you’ll make the most out of the weekend yet ahead. Stay safe, be responsible, and have fun!
