like im thinking about morgellons again and its so frustrating how most doctors seem to treat it as “well we cant actually identify whats going on But youre crazy so i dont need to take you seriously, you just need antipsychotics” like even as someone who does not have Most of the symptoms associated with morgellons (itching, chronic unexplained pain, etc) i can say that someone telling me that the solution to having fucked up fibers embedded in my skin is for me to just take more meds and ignore it is Not helpful

i see very little discussion of how much gaslighting fat people face when we talk about our experiences 

i Very frequently feel like i’m being delusional when i think and talk about fat issues and i think it’s mostly because we are called delusional and told that we are imagining our own experiences, whether it’s “your doctor wouldn’t treat you like that because it would be unethical” (ignoring how widespread medical abuse is) or “you’re wrong about your own body and i know better than you because you’re fat and thus crazy”

and this especially effects psychotic fat people, abused fat people, disabled fat people, and fat people of color

we watched a video abt savants in psych and one of them was a thirteen year old boy and this girl in my class kept going “aw he’s so cute!” and i was like suspicious bc like.. yes hes 13 and is cute but are u saying that bc hes disabled also... but THEN my suspicions were confirmed bc she did the same thing to an adult when he was interviewed. fuck you, thanks

sometimes i think it would be good to bring up "i might be autistic" with my current therapist but i dont know because my last one told me almost verbatim "you aren't autistic because you have friends"

i keep discovering that a bunch of celebrities that i got really bad first impressions of (from adults/media/etc) for the most part are just because they’re addicts. why are people awful
