Okay but lestappen having carlos and osc as pups and they are so different when it comes to sleeping as well!! Oscar sleeps like the dead, loves sleeping, will easily sleep 8 or 9 hours comfortably and never wakes charles and Max up early (he will actually be mean mugging them id they dare wake him before his 8-9 hours of sleep are up)

But carlos struggles a lot more sleeping, is a lighter sleeper and takes longer to fall asleep too, and tends to wake up early. He doesn't really dare to go to mama and papa at first when he is up early, but eventually learns that yeah, papa charles sleeps soooo long too like Osc, but mama Max goes to sleep very late and wakes up very early and is usually awake when carlos is! Judt sweet little bonding time for the two while Osc and Charles are still snoring sksks

The family at a race and Max asks whether the pups want to go and do something or see someone and Oscar agrees which would normally mean Carlos would as well but he shakes his head and mumbles that he wants to stay in the garage with papa and Max is just so happy that he said no! It probably looks a little weird to the outside but it means so much to the family

Maybe they are in the pack room just playing or snuggling in one of Max's nest and Max needs to go to the red bull hospitality to talk to GP and asks if the pups wanna come with him. Oscar agrees cos he likes GP and likes the hospitality usually cos he will most of the time get a snack or two. But carlos doesnt want to go into the busy paddock again so shyly says he would prefer to stay with papa in the Pack room instead. Its the first time he really spoke up and Max purrs so loud at him, kissing those round cheeks before tucking him into with Charles in the nest!

In the adoption au, the fisrt boyfriend that Carlos brings home and Oscar doesn't imediatly rejects being omega Lando!!

And its not because Lando is a omega, but because Oscar can see how comfortable and relaxed Carlos is with him. Lando is loud and energetic, things that take Oscar alittle to get used to but now he has a big brother and a future brother-in-law to protect. Also, omega-omega relatioships not being common or very accepted so Oscar is extremmely protective of them

Carlos bringing home Lando and he is the first who doesnt get immediately growled at by oscar!! Sure oscar is still a little suspicious snd will narrow his eyes ag the omega, but the two seem so happy and at ease and carlos can really be himself!

Oscar becoming so protective over both of them! And pls they both adore him so its quite common for them to nest together with the grumpy younger alpha snuggled between them!

Oh my gosh little pupsie Carlos 😭 "come on Carlos, be brave" poor pup

Max and Charles originally just thinking Carlos' little mumbles are cute and the pup is just really into his pretend play but then hearing himself self soothe and say stuff like "its okay, you're okay, you've got a mamma and a papa now, you're okay" and "be brave" and they realise its a lot more than just play! Maybe he says about being brave when doing something that seems quite simple and it's just breaking their hearts

Plsss Max and Charles thinking its cute at firdt and not asking Carlos about it cos they don't want to make him self conscious! But then they realise what carlos is telling himself himself, little pupsie telling himself to be brave and that he has to be good now, he is so lucky to have a papa and mama and an osc!

It just breaks their hearts to realise little things can be very scary for the pup but he doesnt want to tell them! They talk to carlos eventually and ensure him its okay to talk to himself if he needs it, but he can also talk to mama and papa about it, they are here to help him! Carlos just looking at them with wide eyes so in awe 😭

Ahaha Carlos just fully melting into Charles' lap and going completely boneless to the extend that Charles panics 😅 but then he hears Carlos squeaking and he realises that his pup is just completely at ease and he starts rumbling so loud that Oscar throws a toy at him to shut up because he can't hear his cartoon!

Oh plss!! Carlos snuggling up to his new papa and Charles is gently stroking his hair and keeping a warm arm around him as they watch a Disney movie. Carlos nosing even closer and just going absolutely boneless and it makes charles panic briefly skksks

But then he hears Carlos is squeaking softly and be smells so happy and sweet and just smiles up at Charles when Charles looks down on him. Charles rumbling so loud and cuddling the pupsie close until Osc throws a plushie cos can't hear the cartoon over the loud rumbling sksks!!

Max trying not to laugh but also telling Osc its not nice to throw plushies when its papa and carlos being very happy and Osc just frowns a little but then nods, not wanting to admit he is happy carlos is more at ease now but he is!!

No not baby Carlos talking to himself because he never had anyone else to talk to 😭😭 but also Carlos not sleeping well because on the streets he had to be vigilant and aware at all times and could never let himself truly relax

Plss little pupsie sitting in his room to play a bit and Max and Charles are curious hearing him babble away and notice more abd more that carlos talks to himself a lot! Maybr also when he is nervous or scared? Tries to hide it and be brave and he would succeed, but you can hear him mutter "its okay carlos just be brave" to himself and it just breaks max and charles realising their pup was so alone before 😭

Carlos settles in well foe the most part but he is still so on edge, has been on edge for most of his life after all! He sleeps so lightly and startles quite easily in general, and even though he is a happy puppy now he has a family, there js always a bit of tension to his posture. Maybe at some point carlos just feels so safe and just melts into Charles's chest while watching a movie on the sofa? Momma is close too, osc even solemnly shared his plushies with Carlos and Carlos can feel papa rumble under him! Carlos just going slack, squeaking a little and being all giggly and happy and almost a little floppy hebis just so chilled out sksksk

Maybe when the pups get older and they present like Carlos presents as an omega and Oscar presents as alpha, Oscar becomes extremely overprotective of Carlos.

Like he doesn't approve of Carlos' partners or something like that.

Carlos presenting as an omega and Max and charles aren't really surprised. Carlos has such a gentle nature and he loves nothing more than nesting or trying to help make one and is just mama's little shadow most of the time!

With Osc they are less sure, maybr suppose he will present as Beta but it could go any way really. But then he presents as a little baby alpha and is very confused about it all kskss. He still doesnt like zoomies so much (carlos loves them a lot more) and is still very even tempered but oh, don't touch his big brother, Osc will not be nice about it!!

Carlos bringing a boyfriend home for the first time and Oscar is just glowering menacingly from the side of the room akdkskd one wrong move and he will not be stopped from biting ankles and growling!

Little Carlos always waking up early and immediately wanting to get up and play and explore but he knows that that can annoy some people so when he first comes to live with Max and Charles he forces himself to stay in bed or play really really quietly but he's also kinda sleepy because he finds it hard to go to sleep and try asleep so he's constantly waking up. Max waking up one morning and hearing little murmurs from Carlos' room as he walks past and peaks in to see Carlos playing with his cars and commentating the race so Max goes in to join him and Carlos ends up sitting on Max's lap while they play and maybe Carlos falls asleep again? And maybe Max realises that Carlos needs more of their scents in his bed to make him sleep better?

But other days, Max takes Carlos out for walks and to play while Charles and Oscar are still dead to the world

Little pupsie is such a light sleeper and everything is still so new that evert tiny sound wakes him as he isnt used to them yet! But he also knows papa Charlie and his little brother Osc love sleeping especially and he doesnt want to wake them!! So when he wakes early he plays quietly in his room while yawning lots cos he is tired but can't fall back asleep.

Max hearing him play one morning cos little pupsie is talking to himself (I think he would thst a lot, just muttering to himself cos he didn't really have anyone before who would listen to him). Max cooing softly as he knocks and goes into the room and Carlos smiles brightly at him before suddenly going a little panicked asking if he woke Max! Max quickly going over to soothe pup ensuring him he did nothing wrong and letting Carlos stay in his lap as he shows all his fav race cars! Carlos falling asleep again and Max softly nuzzles him to keep him asleep as he lifts abd carries him to the big nest, where Charles is still fast asleep! Max tucking Carlos up to his Mate anf then going to get little osc too for family cuddles and carlos sleeps so soundly then!

Sometimes carlos really is just wide awake and has sooo much energy and then Max takes him outside or downstairs for some zoomies and giggly bonding!

Also on that note, Osc finally waking and doing the biggest yawn ever before softly squeaking at papa Charlie until he wakes too! Judt soft sleepy snuggles as Charles tucks the pup close and grumpy thing is even smiling lots cosnhe is secretly the happiest little cuddle bug!
