Philadelphia: Police riot against protesters at police chiefs’ convention, October 21, 2017.
#AbolitionWeekend protesters vs. International Chief of Police (IACP) convention in Philly rallied and marched through Center City streets on Oct 21. At the end of the march, as protesters were approaching the notorious statue of former Philly police chief Frank Rizzo, cops rioted, injuring several activists and arresting 6 marchers. Participants instituted jail support at the 9th precinct, Hahnemann Hospital and finally the 15th precinct in support of those brutalized by the state's goons.
