Carried Away- Jo and Klaus

She was exhausted, dragging the heels of her boots as she made her way through the street, only thinking of the warm hotel room waiting for her and the bed with scratchy sheets that she could stay in until the next hunt called. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to just wander through the dark streets, yet she didn't really care. Jo just wanted to wash the blood off of her hands and put her weapons away long enough for feel at least a little normal for 5 minutes.

It was during that thought that she heard the scream. All the drowsiness she was feeling evaporated in a rush of adrenaline as she pulled out her gun and ran towards the sound, her heart racing. There was some switch in that that shifted her from tired girl to someone ready to commit cold murder if they had to. As she got closer to the place where the sounds of terror were coming from, she saw one body on the ground and a figure holding another one.

"Hands in the air!" She yelled, squinting in the dark as she stepped closer.
