Been a long time since working on my fakemon dex, but here's a teeny update: second regional variant!

Houndour's bone plates evolved over time to weather the harsh, arid environments in Abori, going so far as to develop an alternate evolution. Houndingots are a dangerous force to be reckoned with in the badlands and can easily lay larger pokemon (or the careless adventurer) out to dry.

So what's the pika-fake gonna be? 😹

Hello! I'm not sure when this was asked since it looks like my inbox has been broken for..... a long time.... 😱

But the pika-fake concept is split between jerbolt and splender! Jerbolt is the solid 'lightning mouse v28930920' concept and then splender references the more cutesy variants like pachirisu and emolga

(also yes I do have intentions of picking this back up again, I have a few more drafted and I finalized the full dex count so I'll be doing that passively for the forseeable future!)

An update on the abori dex! I didn’t like how in the previous method I’d get so caught up in the rendering that some of them I felt like didn’t really look like pokemon, so I’m attempting a new style and method!

Kicking off this new style, here are all the starters again with some revisions on their designs and motifs

Still working on comms and homework, so here’s the next two pokemon in the Abori Region! Since I’d been redoing the style these are all in, I took it as an opportunity to tweak some of the designs I’d already made to make them a bit tighter. 

On that note, here’s Quorry and Wompack, the paving pokemon. Quorry’s a Normal type while Wompack is Normal/Rock. If you missed their dex entries last time, I’ve paraphrased:

Quorry likes to gather up various clumps of dirt and mud, sticking the collection to its fur for a variety of practical uses.

Wompack has refined it’s collecting style to maximize the surface area of its coat. Each Wompack has been observed to have its own unique packing style.

Also! sticks mleggy out, I’ve started a weekly project to practice both painting and creature design: my own Fakemon Dex! Starting with our sweet grass starter, Wattalba 💖

#001: Wattalba! Even when just born, wattalba can glide for great distances if needed (though they normally stick with their mother until evolved) Their diet consists of tree leaves and berries :0

Spineer: This small spider is very shy, preferring the company of dirt and rocks in its burrow and propping its arms on top of the entrance to scare away predators.

#004: Pajoeyjoey! Extremely rare to find, pajoeyjoey spend most of their time underground until evolved. They have a tendency to melt their way through burrows on the rare occasion they are found and need a quick escape.
