On Art and Progression

It is the abnormal that pushes the envelope, which becomes necessary to the progression of music and art in general. I think it is important that there exists those people who have "abnormal" or "transgressive" tendencies who, to some extent, are ignorant of their progressive qualities or are unable to conform to the norm without applied effort. Let the progressive intuitive people speak! They're the ones who make changes. Yet we have so many mediocre minds stuck in the past shutting them up and causing them self-doubt because of their "laziness" of not conforming.
