We loved across distance

Yet still, I felt your hand in mine,

Mother Became Wind

My mother is gone.

April 16, 2026!

The day light softened

and forgot to hurry.

Birds lifted from the wire

as if they knew.

Trees loosened their grip on the air.

The wind learned her name

and carried it carefully.

Nothing broke,

it only changed direction.

Breath became sky.

Weight became movement.

She is not here,

yet leaves keep turning toward me,

and the wind still arrives

i’d like to share

the unforgettable love.
