Alexios was born in 1725 on the island of Chios in Greece. His family was poor but happy. Tragedy would strike when he was little, though, and they would die when he was 13 from a boating accident.
It was not up to him to try and care for & provide for his 5-year-old sister. Money was hard to come by, no matter how much they asked for charity. Everything he made would go towards feeding and clothing his sister.
He would work the streets begging until he was about 19, giving up on his ego and pride… he’d turn to prostitution, where the money was better and it was easier for him to bring in what they needed.
Alexios had a reputation that he was good, but you better pay upfront and good or else he would make sure you paid in other ways. It ensured that no one bothered him or his sister, despite the shame he felt doing what he did.
When he was 30, he knew he was aging. Work was slowing down when suddenly he found himself under the gaze of the most fascinating person he’d ever met. They had sensed something in him as well, and eventually….they turned Alexios into a Vampire.
Eternal beauty was his now; he was stronger, had more stamina. Work was easier, and he made more…. Now finding new career paths, saving up money, he became a lender of sorts…his reputation helping him in the underworld trade.
When he was 50, Alexios left the island for Athens, and from there he began to travel more and more….Paris, London, Berlin, Vienna, Venice all the great cities of Europe.
In 1822, just shy 3 years of his 100th birthday, another tragedy would strike. His sister, now 89, along with her children and her grandchildren, and even her great-grandchildren, would be victims of the Massacre at Chios; he would lose the remainder of his family.
After this, it became almost impossible for Alexios to trust anyone, and he would become incredibly solitary. However, he did return to his home country and fought in the revolution for Greek Independence. When the war was over, he left once again to travel.
He built up a fortune, and he would make sure he never knew discomfort again. As time went on, he slowly found vampires that didn’t fit the mold painted for them, just like himself, and 10 years ago, created Clan Solune.
Now, now, Alexios, with his new family, is perfectly content causing chaos for anyone and everyone. Within chaos, you can always grab more, more money, more power.
