Addy’s strength comes from both her father and mother, her parent’s were both very strong people. They weren’t the type of people that would give up easily and neither is she.  Whenever she’s had a set back in life, she always pushes through and never gives up.

2. if you could be fluent in any language at the snap of your fingers, which one and why?

French! I have some family who speak it and want to be able to talk to em.

8. how do you mark your spot in a book?

I usually just grab a nearby piece or paper or loose leaf and fold it small enough so it can fit into the book lol.

18. what’s your clothing colour palette?

Hmm... I’ll usually try to wear one light color and a dark color, one on top one on the bottom. Idk my fashion sense does not exist.

If I had to sum it up into three colors excluding white, grey, & black it would be yellow, blue, & beige. Those are really the only colors I wear, with the occasional brown or green.

Bio

Addison or Addy, was born in Manhattan to two doctors who gave her everything she could ever want. However, Addy wasn’t the type to be spoiled about it. She cared about others much more than herself.

Going to the best private schools that Manhattan can offer, Addy was extremely intelligent, easily going through all her school years. She was valedictorian and got a full ride to NYU. She chose to study forensic science, becoming interested in the science itself behind forensics.

While in college, she met Parker, who was a biology major. They immediately hit it off and started dating within weeks of meeting each other. By their junior year of college, they started living together and Addy knew that he was the one that she wanted to married.

When they both graduated with their bachelor’s, Parker proposed and the brunette immediately said yes. He went into medical school while she went to get her master’s.

Out of the blue, they decided to get married at the courthouse and have a ceremony and reception then they were done with school. They didn’t want to wait long to get married and wanted to start their life together as soon as possible.

While visiting her family in the Hamptons, Addy and Parker got in a car accident, Parker dying on scene and Addy surviving with only a broken arm.

Feeling survivor’s guilt, Addy went into therapy as well as finishing her master’s in forensic science.

Once she got her master’s, Addy decided to leave New York and the memories that were there. She found the town of Irving and got a job with their police department.

Buying herself a small home, Addy has two dogs, Mocha and Truffle, and living her life for not only herself, but for Parker as well.

Personality

Addy is intelligent. She knows she is and acts like she knows it all, making her a tad cocky at times.

Being that she loves forensics, she tends to be the odd one in a group of people. She doesn’t mind it though and actually prefers it.

She still goes to therapy because of the car accident and the loss of her husband.

She’s usually an extremely friendly person, but will defend herself or others if she needs to.

Addy is one that relies on hope to get through most things, including her every day life. She hopes everything will turn out the way it’s supposed to and hopes that when something goes wrong that it will all work out in the end.  Her hopes are always connected to her dreams and most of the time does work out the way she has planned.

When Addy was little she wanted to be a teacher, but her dreams changed after her parents died.  After everything she had gone through her dreams to own a bookstore grew and grew until she actually reached her goal.  Her love of books was instilled in her by her father and she see’s her stores as a tribute to him.  

After finishing college, she had enough money saved up from her inheritance and money she had saved herself to build her first store,Blue Bird Books.  Which is another tribute to her father.  He used to call Addy his little Blue Bird.  

She never dreamed her store would grow to be what it is today though, she had dreamed of only one store.  Now she has several all around the world, but she loves it. Now her dream is to keep the store growing and to bring the love of books to as many people as she can.

Bio

Adelaide Fleur was born in San Diego to two lawyers who had their own firm. She was their miracle baby, as they tried for a baby for years and when they finally got pregnant, Addy’s mom wanted to make sure the child lived the best life possible.

When she was seven months, her mother started putting her in pageants. At first it was just for fun, but once Addy fell in love with it, it became serious. She had a pageant coach and was trained in dance.. She dreamed of being Miss America and wasn’t going to stop till she got there.

Her school life was good. She was smart and easily passed her classes. She didn’t really know what she wanted to do with her life after pageants, only deciding that she was going to Stanford for college.

After taking an anatomy class, Addy decided she wanted to become a doctor. The major intrigued her and made her want to learn more in that field. She also was still doing pageants, not really giving herself much of a social life.

Finally becoming Miss California, Adelaide finally went to Miss America, coming in as second runner up. It broke her heart completely, deciding to quit beauty pageants and just focusing on her studies full on.

Getting accepted into the Medical school in Stanford, Adelaide had a hard time deciding on what she really wanted to do. After watching a few different specialties, she decided to stick to emergency medicine. It was a way for her to do everything while almost giving herself a purpose for the world, something she felt she secretly lost once she stopped pageants.

Three years ago, Addy finally got her license, moving to Santa Monica and working at the emergency department at the hospital. She made a home for herself and now has a home and a dog named Truffle.

Personality

Addy was raised to love herself and that is something she still does. She tends to come off cocky or a little self centered, but being a doctor slightly evens out the cockiness.

She truly loves her job. She goes into each work shift with a smile on her face. Although there are times she really questions the people she sees and their decisions.

She likes the finer things in life. Top shelf, fancy wine, classy restaurants. And she always dresses for the occasion.

She loves clothes. She’s addicted to shopping and refuses to admit she has a problem.

She’s half Filipino and very proud of her heritage.

Vacation spots on your bucket list?

Ooh! I wanna visit Taiwan, and I’d love to go back to Hong Kong again. Obviously w/ COVID nothing’s gonna be happening soon, but a girl can dream.
