Who's that next to you? And why do you hate smoking so much? Don't you smoke weed?
The guy is Adel, the one person Samuel could rely on before I came around since he was one of Samuel’s teachers while he was in school. Also, weed is way different than cigarettes, anon, weed isn’t a disgusting bunch of bullshit that’ll permanently kill your lungs in less than 10 years and make you quickly develop a stressful addiction that keeps you hooked in as your mental state declines. Weed is all-natural, especially when I grow it myself. I know what’s in what I smoke and eat since I grow every bit of it. Every drug I do I grow myself.

RATIONALITY
You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. This can make you seem unreasonably pushy to some, but it is actually a virtue: you are motivated by a horror at pointless effort and a longing for precision and insight into how things and people work. Your ability to synthesise and bring order is essential in producing thinking which is truly helpful.
MISANTHROPY
You have seen the darker side of human nature, even in daily life. When you look beneath the surface everyone is pretty messed up; there’s more selfishness circulating that others admit. You are never surprised by the stupidity of others, even though it annoys you. Your streak of misanthropy is, in fact, a requirement of remaining sane. You’ve wisely come to terms with your need to sometimes confidently reject people.
DEFENSIVENESS
One tendency in you – which is of course normal to the human race – is to bristle when criticised, and to defend yourself when you feel under threat from aggression or blame. Defensiveness can make you conceal your less honourable motives, from others, and from yourself. The habits once made sense: they all derive from past efforts to protect yourself. And most of the time – because we don’t get much help in loving ourselves – you still need them to feel secure.

Has Adelein changed much from her first few RPs to the ones now?
She has struggled with her identity in the sense that she was once comfortable in her dissonance from others. In the first few interactions Adelein was very disinterested in the well-being or awareness of the people encountered. Everyone was a means to an end but her inspiration was not gleaned from social interactions. Adelein was far more interested in the minuscule details of Mundas, the semblance of a flower’s pigment in relation to awareness, how knowledge could be calculated in the circumventing coils of a morning glory’ vines. Though the stars whispered her name, the loam itself graciously offered esoteric philosophy at her feet. Now, Adelein is split into facets of herself. Her lack of empathy allowed her to analyze knowledge that was not meant to be understood by a mortal mind. When she interacts with others, she is now realizing what it means to be a person in relation to another person. She is unsure of what direction to take–a mortal path? or the mind-stream of the Et’ada? Another reflection pines for the maddened concept of both. She wants to be Adelein Gardinier separately, without the Golden Eye seeing through her; but the concept is not calculable yet. She want’s to see the world in her unique view, but share it with others.Adelein has lost a lot of certainty, but she is changing as a character.
// I could see Adelein having a very flat voice. like not monotone precisely but with a very subtle, tight range of inflection that can be hard to miss. And for some reason I imagine bit of a lisp. Ahaha.
Maybe a really slight lisp (mun used to have one when younger, its more of a thing you can see visually then hear the difference. Hard to explain in detail but I can accept that as cannon, yeah). She is very close to monotone but her vocal variations are easy to discern. I really wish I could find a video or audio link that is close to it, but she has a creepy kind of grain when she speaks. It just makes her fairly more unsettling she she uses lower tones in her voice. You were not far off at all.
