Hey there! Just a blog update for some things going forward!

First, I think I may switch this blog wholly to a one-shot/really short series blog. My longer fics will be posted on AO3 and have a 'promotion' post on here so people can follow those updates. I just think it's easier for me that way, and interaction with the fic drops off on here the more parts it has.

Additionally, I would like to be more active on here, and I'll try, but I would consider my activity to be slow since I've just have a number of offline obligations.

And finally, just a reminder that I do take requests!! I might take a minute to complete them, but if you'd like to see an idea written by me, I'm always open to hearing them! My inbox is always open. 💕

Update: After some thought, I'm going to fully take a month or so off from here. Work on some other projects that I am excited about. My university year has just wrapped up and on top of an exhausting year for everyone, I've been keeping on top of my studies and dealing with financial and physical health issues. I still really do want to write on here, but I think I'm going to take the time to refamiliarize and enjoy this game for myself again. Plus, I need the break before jumping back into things here again. This is by far my most active blog in regards to interaction and I appreciate that greatly, but after getting to a point where I almost deleted everything I worked so hard on here? I need the break.

Also, I don't know if they will read this, but to the anon in my inbox who took the time to share some nice words and encouraged me to take care of myself: THANK YOU. I haven't posted it because I wasn't sure what to say fully but that helped greatly and made me feel less alone on here. I'm hoping you have the best day and many after.

I have been struggling lately with the notion of leaving. It feels like this game has run its course with me a bit and I struggle to feel like people actually enjoy what I write these days. I've always written for myself, foremost, and appreciate those who enjoy what I put out in turn but idk. I feel like I have been forcing it lately. I hate it because I know I have Blank Spots stuck at a cliffhanger atm, something I have had planned out for months, but I just feel like it's going to suck majorly. I'm not writing it for fun anymore, feels a bit like an obligation and my writing is suffering for it.

I don't know if I just need a break or to just stick to AO3 at a slower schedule but idk. On top of my living situation and my interests shifting, it's been hard. I don't want to continue to disappoint people.

Just a blog update that I am going to close requests until my semester at university lets out in early-ish April. However, I will be trying to keep Blank Spots updated as it's kind of my baby at this point. Once I possibly get more free time once I'm done with courses for the summer, I'll work on the requests I owe and be open for new stuff.

I'm going to be slow, the end of the semester is two weeks away + finals. I have about four requests and a chapter of Blank Spots lined up along with another part to the modern au that I'm excited to write, I just need the free time. Thank you all for the patience!
