About the pictures: 

Hair: I love hair, in general. Even more if natural red or blonde, and the longer the better. I love drawing it too, and it’s probably the first thing people notice on me first/ask me for/compliment me on. That pic also reminds of the pre-Raphaelite aesthetics so win/win.

Viking ship:  I love history (medieval is the fav period), I love vikings, currently living in Denmark, and in a relationship with one. So very obvious.

Fae: My first books were all about the fae. Legends, tales and mythology (mainly celtic, nordic afterwards). I loved reading about them and drawing them. I have many of them, and I want to be a wood elf when I’m old :D Of course this influenced my art and the things I like in general.

Nature: I love nature (minus bugs... sorry not sorry bugs). I love witty quotes and pretty lettering compositions. Plus that quote pretty much defines my way to do things (that is, at some point).

Travel: Once you start you can’t stop! So addictive and makes you feel so rich inside. Looking forward to new paths! Also, when alone doesn’t equal lonely...

ART: The crafting, creating, getting dirty in colors, breathing through its process.

Night: moon-lover here, and a creature of the night. I function better when everything else’s asleep. Or is it...?

Starred sky: And obviously, I love everything that’s up above. When I was a kid I collected books about space, and I still love the sky very very much. Shout out to my beautiful northern lights which I’ll see one day!

7. How often do you use references?

Very often. I wasn’t born with the supreme understanding of everything soooo references are what makes art better, plus they teach you how to do the thing so in the future you don’t need them again.

9. How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?

Uhhh…. welp. I don’t draw everyday. When I do draw though, is probably +2am and it’s something that got stuck in my mind and I’m not sleeping until I get it out, and that can take hours.I need to keep drawing routine and draw a sketch a day or something.

11. How many art-related blogs do you follow?

I currently follow 167 blogs and probably around 80% of them are artists or art related :)

18. What are you currently trying to improve on?

On finishing stuff…? For once…? Em, that’d probably be color. I’m very unsatisfied with my skills on that regard, at least digitally which is my main media. I get sick of it so quickly :( not fun.

1. Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?

Digital I guess, as it’s the one I’ve been focusing and earned a lot of confidence in it. I think it’s so eclectic and flexible! However, I’m missing traditional lately and bought some watercolors and pencil colors  media to practise it again, it has so much charm and a different touch. Soon I’ll probably end up mixing both techniques :)

2. How long have you been drawing?

Since primary school!  I have had periods in which I virtually didn’t draw, but yes basically since I was a kid :D

5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?

I’d say… elves. Yes. I love character design. And hair lol

25. Do you like to draw in silence, or with music?

ALWAYS WITH MUSIC PLS. I’m never in silence, drawing or not. In fact, worry if I don’t have music because whatever’s happening is taking over me!Anyway, yes, I do like (aka need) something on to serve as mental/inspirational fluent while I paint. It can really set the mood for it! For example, if I’m drawing elves I’d put some folk/epic music, or traditional japanese music if I’m drawing, say, samurais?? haha

Statue ❧ Who is your favorite artist?

Oh dear. I guess you mean just painters? Then I’ll go for the ‘classics’: Pre-Raphaelites (J. W. Waterhouse, J. E. Millais, D. G. Rossetti & co.), Alphonse Mucha, Alma Tadema, Gil Elvgreen, Velázquez, Van Gogh, Krøyer… just from the top of my head. Current living artists that I really like are for example evankart, missetoile, charliebowater or qinni among MANY others (I follow 164 blogs and 80% of them are artists so yeah). Disney and some mangas included of course.

Gonna drop musicians too and mention Faun as my fav latest addition :) (Walpurgisnacht and Tinta are ❤, here’s my spotify playlist if you’re feeling curious). Most of the time I listen to folk/pagan/celtic/medieval stuff, only to be changed for rock/metal and ocassionally the cheesiest pop :D

Doll ❧ Do you collect anything?

Yes I do! Mostly travel-related things.I have a collection of pen/pencils from every place (if possible) I’ve travelled to. I have one golden, arrow-shaped pen from Cardiff Castle, or one from Christ Church College in Oxford (where a scene of Harry Potter was filmed :D).

I also collect postcards. Here in Denmark you can find free ‘advertisement postcards’ in bars and stores and usually have clever designs/slogans so I added those to my travel postcards, which I collect as well :) The latter include not only places I’ve been but also postcards that other people has got me from their travels, which is so cool!

Well, here we go again! If you weren’t bored of Ael-facts yet

I hate gossip. I avoid anything gossiping-related like the plague. Because of that, I also feel negative about people who enjoys it, but I try not to judge much -.- it’s difficult

I can’t file my nails unless my fingertip is touching/pressing against a surface. If I don’t do that, it gaves me chills and feels very unconfortable for some reason ._.

I’ll never get used to receive compliments, especially those related to my physical appearance, you know, “omg you/your XXX are so XXXX” and I’m like “Wat? eheheheheeeaskjajkjafahfakhjka—-*furiously blushes and dies*”. Much awkward. Wow.

Imma fab nerd, apparently. Some friends or just people who met me say I don’t *look* like one, which is so stupid if you stop to think about it. I only have a few nerdy items, tshirts mostly, to wear or show in public. 60% goes for “nerdy stuff is fricking expensive life’s not fair” and the 40% left is “I actually give a damn about fashion, sue me”. But then there’s this friend who thinks just like me, who told me “Well it’s fine if you love something but don’t feel the need to show it around all the time, it just makes you truer to yourself and your tastes”. Preach!

I would love to see my hair red-colored, auburn or copper-ish (I’m brunette) but I’m a wuss puss to dye it *caresses own hair while mumbling my precious*Bravest thing I did on my hair was trying reddish/pinkish hair-chalk on my hair tips once (and it looked so rad lol), but that was too punk for me to do it more permanently xD

I’m nearly ALWAYS listening to music. Buying a new mp3 player was a need.

Talking about music, it actually inspires me a lot -to draw I mean. It doesn’t even matter which kind of music it is. I just got an idea for my elven OCs from a Ricky Martin song. Welp.

Just in case you didn’t notice yet, 75-85% of the stuff I start ends unfinished. I’m very impulsive so I try to get things done in the very same moment I get the spark, which means sleepless nights most of the time…

…also because I’m creature of the night. I love the night. I find it magical and mysterious. I like to be awake at night, everything’s so calm, perfect to work. I love to watch the moon and the stars.This probably relates to my childhood obssession with the sky and its elements. I had books about stars and planets and used to know what Mercury’s atmosphere was made of.

Biggest spot on my body is located on my back. I didn’t like it much when I was little but now I kind of love it, haha. It’s like a trademark of my body, a touch, a detail, something mine.

I’m a social disaster. I’m that kind of person who’s really not *active* maintaining relationships but that doesn’t mean I’m not your friend. I’m always there. Somewhere. I’m just… not overly-attached, so to speak. Dunno. Sorry?

I don’t drink alcohol (like, not even a simple beer, ew) nor I smoke. It’s disgusting. Don’t do it guys, it’s terrible and makes you ugly in so many ways :( that’s my opinion/advice at least.

I always get told I don’t look my age, which is cool being the eldest daughter, mwahahaha ÒvÓ

Had to repeat 2 courses of Math to get done with high school, so I graduated a year later *oops*

I have only taken a few “official” drawing lessons because I thought I would study Fine Arts but I didn’t in the end… So I’m self-taught for everything except copying naked sculptures with graphite lol

I’m a picky little shit if we talk about food. The “I like tomatoes cooked but not raw” or “I love everything strawberry-flavored but not actual strawberries” kind   *hides*

I love singing! I wish I could sing better. My bf thinks I should record myself and upload it in youtube but he’s crazy you know, blinded by love and stuff.

Confession time: I would post more original art but I’m afraid people would start unfollowing me like they’ve seen the devil. I’m insecure sometimes, too.
