Cinder got a raw deal when he was born by being tasked with keeping the balance and preventing the void from destroying all of existence as we know it. He works with other versions of himself to reset timelines and trim dying worlds to keep the better majority of things running smoothly. It’s a lonely existence but it’s nothing like the shit his little brother Ashe has to deal with.

The kid was born an anchor to basically be put onto a critical world during a reset to make sure the entire multiverse line doesn’t collapse. He also has to deliver the condolence letters after versions of Cinder vanish or die due to a rebirth cycle. He has to put up with mourning partners and friends taking their anger and pain out on him and bears the wounds constantly.

So if you have fun with Cinder make sure to enjoy it because if Ashe shows up it means that shit’s gone down and there’s one less Cin in the battle to keep everyone safe.
