- Lux can’t lie. Sometimes things become true just because she says them. No one can lie to Lux. - Logus can lie, with difficulty, but a lot of people think he can’t (and he uses that). Denizens with the right cards can lie to Logus, but it’s hard to pull off. - Jezebel and Nox speak fluent lie. You can lie to them and they’ll lie back and you can have a nice conversation that way. Both can lie to Logus. Rumor has it Jezebel can lie to Lux.  - Laurent lies a lot but very badly. He can’t lie to Logus.  - Candy technically can’t lie but she works around it. People can lie to her, but she’s got a knack for tricking people into revealing things they don’t want to.  - Oskyod doesn’t really buy into this whole paradigm. Oskyod prevaricates. Oskyod can prevaricate to Lux. Most people think they can lie to Oskyod but Oskyod might be a stealth truthometer. It’s hard to tell.   - The Cardmaster doesn’t have to lie. He is a lie. There’s no point in lying to him but he sometimes lets people think they’ve gotten away with it.

ah! She’s a new denizen i came up with—i only just started talking about her. i’ll repost my basic intro for you here:

so Candy is (maybe tied with nox) eventually the 2nd best denizen at catching stars. Jezebel kind of trained her as a challenge once Logus started trying to take her job a la: I bet i can teach this freshly-minted Nobody form Lux’s menagerie of Fair Maidens to do this job better than you. Once she develops she’s got a lot of qualities that are like Jezebels’ but more bubbly and child-like. She’s less calculating, but still very effective. also generally a lot less complicated in terms of her history and motives (largely by virtue of being pretty new). her mood is unstable; she’s always either very happy or very sad. She frequently speaks in half-sensible rhymes.
