Just out of curiosity, what’s Ciphers opinion on Rouge?

Cipher’s opinion on the world’s greatest treasure hunter? They consider her a possible ally, someone that if given enough could get them what they’re looking for. They think she’s really skilled an agile, but since they’re aware of Rouge’s habit to steal they make sure to keep their treasure very well hidden from her.

Both of them get along, probably Rouge is the only one who knows that Cipher works for both sides, but since she does the same sometimes, she doesn’t mind.

You mentioned in one of their bios that Cipher drinks any kind of tea. Do they have a favourite type? Or are they not picky?

When it comes to tea they’re not picky, they can drink any kind of tea as long as it isn’t way too bitter

They find infusions like chamomile really calming, so floral taste is one of their favs

Work and Pleasure

Cipher works as an inventor and mechanic/robotic technician at the Eggman Empire AND the resistance, they only care about money, so they work for whoever who pays them

Their hobbies are to read, especially with a cup of tea, and study alchemy, even though they keep that last one as a secret

Food and Drink

Their favorite food are muffins, especially the ones with chocolate chips, and tea, any kind of tea is fine for them~ (but without milk)

Friends and Family

Miles “Tails” Prower: Despite the fact that Tails is a kid and Cipher dislikes kid, they consider Tails well behaved and with tons of potential, so they're always glad to work alongside with him on different inventions. Whenever Cipher works for the resistance, they get to work with Tails.

Rotor The Walrus: Cipher and Rotor are childhood friends (met after Rotor left his home), they grew up and learned about mechanics together with the support of each other. From time to time, Cipher likes to visit him to exchange inventions ideas and hang out.

Dr. Starline: Cipher's and Starline's relationship is kind of complicated. While they work well together because of their great intellects, they have some sort of rivalry, especially when Cipher hoards Eggman's attention to themselves with praises and technical talk. They tend to compete with each other to impress the evil genius, creating certain 'enjoyable' tension between them. Cipher is completely attracted by Starline's personality, intellect and physical appearance, finding him 'endearing' and 'fun to compete with'.

Does Cipher ever go hoot

Rarely! But it happens sometimes, and when it does they feel completely embarrassed, especially in front of someone else.

This tends to happen in occasions in which Cipher is too sleepy or when they hear a sudden noise that call their attention.

Other thing they use to do is screech. Barn Owls screech instead of hooting, so whenever they act quickly for instinct they will do so, especially when they get attacked.

If someone tries to take their muffins, they will screech at them and attempt to bite too.

Love your Cipher/Starline ship. they are so cute together. curious has there ever been an incident where cipher has been hurt or kidnapped because he knew and was friends with starline and if so did starline go all rage mode.

So far, Cipher hasn’t been kidnapped once as their relationship with Starline remains in a secret, only those who work for the Eggman Empire (Including Eggman himself) know it.

To the resistance, Cipher doesn’t even know Starline, as they think that the owl is just someone who helps them from time to time and “has nothing to do” with the Eggman Empire.

But knowing how Starline is, if Cipher ever got hurt he would be completely worried about them, trying to help them before unleashing his rage on the person or creature that hurt them. Star is a very sensible platypus, his emotions are strong and intense, and he has been shown to have rage episodes during the comics, so it’s most likely that he’s prone to have them when the situation makes him feel furious and frustrated.

Does Cipher have any fears or Phobias

Yes! They do, they have two major phobias.

One is deep water, they’re afraid of drowning or what could be underneath it, so whenever they see a deep river or a lake they keep their distance. Needless to say that they never travel in boat/cruise, if they have to go so somewhere across a huge mass of water, they prefer to do it flying.

And the other are thunders and lighting. They get easily startled with it, staying awfully uneasy after they heard it. Whenever there’s a storm they will either cover themselves with a blanket and sit on their couch in a ball of cloth as the storm passes, or will go to their basement in which their hoard their riches to avoid hearing these awful sounds and seeing the flashes. It depends on the intensity of the storm.

Is there ever gonna be a time where his double life is discovered...i mean can someone keep a secret like that forever.

To be honest, I don’t see Cipher keeping that double life forever.

Sure, they love to see each side of the story destroying each other, but they also get attached, they get used to things, and atop of that, the money can win their loyalty.

So, at the end of the day, I can totally see them finally leaving the Resistance to fully join the Eggman Empire, not keeping the secret anymore as there won’t be any secret to keep, making it public that they work for the Empire and only the Empire.

But I won’t lie, if someone who can pay them better appears, they will feel tempted to leave Eggman’s side to go and work with that person, and if that happens, they will make sure to just “disappear” one day for Eggman not to see them ever again.
