Got tagged by @coffeeandconundrums to talk about 10 movies I like, so here we go:

1. Yellow Submarine: While I think The Beatles are mediocre today, I was OBSESSED with them when I was little. My dad had a DVD of this movie and I watched it over and over, so much so that I can probably quote the whole thing.

2. Who Framed Roger Rabbit: The special effects in this movie are ASTOUNDING. And it combines two of my favorite things: cartoon slapstick and gritty detectives.

3. Batman Returns: Got to add at least one Batman movie to the list. I love Danny Devito’s portrayal as The Penguin. This movie made me much more interested in the character than before I watched it.

4. Beetlejuice: This is one of my comfort movies. I just adore Michael Keaton’s performance (even if he is only in there for like 30 minutes).

5. Monty Python and the Holy Grail: I love this movie so much, I wrote an analysis on it for a film class I took in college.

6. Batman (1966): Another comfort movie. You can tell how much fun the actors were having during filming, and it’s infectious.

7. Army of Darkness: The movie where I realized I had a crush on Bruce Campbell (and other older men, haha oops)

8. Mad Max: Fury Road: When I was walking out of the theater after seeing it, an older gentleman in front of me said it sucked. Obviously, he doesn’t like having fun.

9. WALL-E: I don’t think I know anyone who didn’t like this movie. This movie convinced me robots can be cute.

10. The Road to El Dorado: Love triangle? No. Polyamory. (And I also just really love the animation in this movie, it’s a crime that it didn’t do well in the box office.)

i think if you asked emi, she would say something stupid that only she thinks is funny (e.g. cockroach, parasitic worm, flying bison, godzilla).

if you were to ask someone else, they'd also say other. depends on the person, but you'd definitely get a wide variety of answers (e.g. unkillable mosquito, green ogre à la shrek).

between cats and dogs, though, i'd say shes a dog person. (i see the reasoning for cat person, tho. it's a hard pick.) shes probably fond of those big scary-looking ones, but she def needs an animal she can run around with and be crazy with.

if i were to compare her to a dog, i think she might be a malinois. shes 100% not one of those "golden retriever energy" people..... little too evil for that. she adores megumi's divine dogs tho, as we've seen

however, thats MY personal interpretation. the true answer is that shes whatever the reader is 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Hi hi helloo I got your ao3 notification and ran here to request something if u dont mind because I love emi @w@ I really liked that scene where her hands start shaking at the grocery store with gojo but they both don't really know how to talk about it and emi doesn't really know how to open up. Both of these avoidant ass mfs I swear to god. It would be soo interesting to see a hurt/comfort fic of emi with gojo who can tell she's masking with humour, but he gets it because he's like that too...how they navigate with that how gojo helps her when she ends up opening up somehow idk,,, doesnt have to be about the yuji situation but generally ykwim,,do you get the vision x_x sorry for the long ask I just eat up the characterisation you have and really personally resonate with it!! Also would we be seeing this kind of dynamic later on in the longfic I was wondering? :-) Have a good day!

Sometimes I wonder why hurt/comfort/angst are my go to stories and THEN I remember that as a small child my favorite movie involved a baby dinosaur losing his mother very traumatically and then having to chase a happy ending with only his baby dinosaur friends. And my favorite pre-LotR book series involved 7 teenagers who survived a nuclear apocalypse by being put into “sleeper pods” only to wake up a decade or so later and find the whole world changed, their families gone, and the main character grieving his dad only to discover that the mutated hunchback mentor who woke him up is his dad, and only as said dad is dying in his arms.

So like. Honestly yeah, my current tastes really all kind of check out.
