Day 1: What is your current form and why?

I’m unsettled and don’t put much effort into form-finding, but Charlie is very comfortable in a red fox form!

I like the colors and small size, and foxes are confident little things. They’re adaptable and expressive, two traits I (unfortunately) don’t have but really admire in other people. Charlie’s form gives me an internal role model.

Charlie likes being a fox because xe’s a cuddler and foxes are pretty soft. Xe can also nip me better with fox teeth, and thus get my attention when I’m ignoring all of my work. You scruffy nonbinary hellion. No dæmon is perfect.

Here's a fun little fact about Finch's name for you!

His parents named him Peter, and he would be Peter until a particular day in elementary school in which he caught and killed a finch. He then went around bragging to his classmates proclaiming "Lookit this finch I killed!" One girl told him "Get that dead bird outta my face" and Peter responded smartly with "It ain't just a bird, its a finch!" as if the bird being a finch made it special. He later would be called "the finch kid" and that was later shortened to just Finch.

i need to know. i must achieve knowledge. does Finch like to style his hair? does he mind braids? does he ever wear it casually down? this is important, you see

Finch will wear his hair down on occasion, but his hair is generally dirty and ratty and nasty. He cuts out more hair ties than he successfully pulls out (not that he's ever been good at pulling out hehehe). Someone he's close to could maybe convince him to style it if they offered to be the one to style it. He wouldn't have the knowledge or skill to style it himself. But if you were a long term captive who offered to braid his hair for him, he might accept. He might complain a lot while you're doing it, but first you'd have to untangle the rats nest on his head.

He wears his hair up a lot because he doesn't like it getting in his face when he's out working on the farm, and then he's too lazy to take it down so it stays in the ponytail for at least a few days, if not longer.

yes yes! I kinda danced around it before but yes, Finch is a werewolf. He got turned when he was a kid by a classmate of his, a girl called Cassie. The way I write Lycanthropy is essentially there must be a transference of blood and saliva from sire to childe at the same time.

To put it simply, Finch and this girl got into a fight, Cassie bit Finch, so Finch bit her back. They both broke skin on the other, thus infecting Finch with her Lycanthropy.

What kinda victim is this Finch fella looking for

Finch would take any victim he can get his hands on, really. However his favourites would be victims with high energy, someone he can torture and keep alive for a few days before finally killing them. But honestly he's really not picky, and sometimes he can't afford to be. He abducts a victim a few nights before a full moon to keep them around to hunt down when he transforms. Sometimes it comes really last minute, and he's just taking what he can get.
