SO, this is entirely non-canon as far as I know but that's why we call them headcanons.
Anyway.
Given Genesis' specialization as a swordmage I feel he would benefit from a team on some missions, to wipe out what's left / have his back, and also that, given his personality, he would want men that were "his" to have his back handling / verifying intel and the like. So my Gen has a small pack of Seconds that work independently, but are also called to have his back when he's on a particularly dangerous mission.
Because it's not that he can't handle it, he's a legend for a reason, but by having a little team behind him he theoretically won't run himself down and can therefore be in the field longer, which is what the President pushes Lazard for, I am sure.
Genesis' team is as follows (in alphabetical order, not capability, very detailed because I've been using them in fanfic a long time):
Just to point out, these are MY OCs. I made them up. That's why it's a headcanon.
Fun aside: my Genesis is 5'10 flatfooted so they're all taller than him unless they all wear boots, in which case he might have an inch more to be taller than two of them. He is, alas, permanently shorter than Kythe.
Kythe "Chessmaster" Osborn = Born in Kalm, moved out before the bombing but lost family there; does not talk about his past. The only one of the three who had a traditional Midgar entry to SOLDIER, passing the testing smoothly and making it to Third Class, then a swift promotion to Second.
6'1, messy slightly longer than "short" strawberry blond hair, teal mako eyes, light skin that freckles spectacularly if he forgets sunscreen for any length of time.
Battle mage, materia healer though it's not on his file as a specialization; never loses his chill, strategic, gathers intel and crosschecks whatever they're provided, works with Genesis on planning complex collaborations as a team.
Earned the call sign "Chessmaster" for his constantly strategic thinking and the position as an intel specialist this provided him.
Leon "Dice" Silva = Born in the greater Costa del Sol area, one of the few in his family to leave it permanently. Entered the Junon Academy first, messed up on the paper portion of the test but made it on the second try. Superb chocobo rider and works with the stables in Midgar when he's not on missions.
5'11. Short black hair, darker mako eyes, warm brown skin.
Jack of all trades from melee to ranged, knows a LARGE range of weapons, including guns, pretty decent with materia, stamina for days; almost positive he has ADHD the longer I write him. Would make a great friend for Zack.
Earned the call sign "Dice" because his fighting style is very high risk / high reward, and in tough spots the team often uses the phrase "roll the dice" before cutting him loose.
Xan "Bishop" Harrison = Born in Costa del Luna (original to me location on the opposite coast to Costa del Sol). Fudged his forms, got in at 14 (back before that became standard later in the Wutai War.)
6'0, hair down to his chin with a blue-black color, a more intense dark blue mako eyes and deeply tanned skin.
Battle mage specializing in physics based materia like Earth, Demi/Gravity and Air; extremely intelligent, can be strategic but can also be impatient. Devastatingly thorough, tends to seek out weak points like a laser rather than going broad damage like a flamethrower on it.
Earned the call sign "Bishop" due to his ranged abilities as a mage, often preferring to fight from a distance and thus rarely being noticed by his opponents until it's too late for them to react.
Made this pic set of Angeal-is-done waaaaaay back in like. 2013-ish when I first joined Tumblr with my Angeal RP blog. I don’t RP him much these days, but he holds a special place in my heart, and the above still makes me laugh too much.
ali out here always making me introduce ocs that I’ve been neglecting for a year is maddiephobia okay
Name: Genesis
Age: Unknown
Story: Heaven Won’t Take Me Back
Fandom: Supernatural
Faceclaim: Jenny Boyd
Love Interest: Dean Winchester
Summary: It had been a long time since Genesis had set foot in heaven. As Lucifer’s right hand, she had been cast away with the archangel aeons ago. But Genesis didn’t believe in Hell, just like she hadn’t believed in Heaven. No, Genesis had always supported mankind. So for millennia, the angel had roamed the earth, befriending humans along the way. She couldn’t interfere, not really, so when a four-year-old Dean Winchester started praying to anyone who would listen, begging for his mom back, there was nothing that she could do. But twenty two years later, when Dean Winchester starts praying again — for protection for his baby brother — Genesis decides that she’s done playing the observer. The Winchester brothers are facing an army from Hell, and who better than the former queen of Hell to fight beside them?
So!!! Genesis was Lucifer’s right hand and got cast away alongside him. She hadn’t believed in heaven really, but she didn’t believe in Hell either, so she left. She spent millennia wandering the earth, befriending humans but never interfering in the course of their lives
not even when a four-year-old Dean Winchester started praying to anyone who would listen, begging for his mom back
until twenty two years later, when Dean Winchester starts praying again — for protection for his baby brother, and Genesis decides that she’s done sitting on the sidelines and that she’s not going to let two more innocent boys die in the pointless war between heaven and hell!
I was in the mood for some mood boards. First on the docket is my firechild. Tagging @firxga and @thegenesisrhapsodos because you adore him as much as I do.
could you give us a small summary of all your new spn ocs?
for sure!!!!
- Anna Winchester (fc. Kaylee Bryant) in Memory: Anna is John Winchester’s youngest child. Her mother was a recurring one night stand that John saw for most of a year, and Anna was the result. When her mother died, Anna was taken in with the Winchesters, and has spent her life with them. Only, no one knows who her mother actually is
- Briony Harvelle & Asher Millian in Don’t You Cry (No More): I just wrote a bit about them here!!
- Cybil (fc. Danielle Campbell) in Heavy Is The Head (That Wears The Crown): the only daughter of a prince of hell (Asmosdeus), who has been primarily raised by Crowley as he’s hoping to have her support when he finally has a chance to take over. She’s absolutely fed up with the entire system of Hell, and tried to take care of Dean when he was there
- Desdemona (fc. Zoey Deutch) in Untitled: Crowley’s daughter
- Genesis (fc. Jenny Boyd) in Heaven Won’t Take Me Back: a fallen angel who was exiled centuries ago and is now a part of team free will
- Marmaroth (fc. Meg Donnelly) in Untitled: Marmaroth (aka Mary) is the angel born to thwart fate. Furious at how Michael has forgotten about free will, she runs away to earth where she meets Cas and the Winchesters and joins their team
- Roxanne Marlowe (fc. Kaya Scodelario) in Untitled: her mother was Mary Winchester’s best friend. After her father was killed on a hunt, her mother withdrew from hunting completely, but still taught her daughter to defend herself. She meets the Winchesters in Lawrence, Kansas, and offers to help them find John
- Scarlett (fc. Kat McNamara) in Untitled: Michael’s daughter
and she wasn’t on the list bc I don’t have a name for her yet but
Esther/Delilah Colt (fc. Crystal Reed and Emilia Jones) in Untitled: A girl whose mom was a hunter and sometimes when she and Dean were young, her mom and John started hooking up and hunting together. And her mom died on a hunt, so John ended up raising her too. But she’s always blamed John for her mom’s death, so when she turned 16 she left. But doing her own research she learned that it was Yellow Eyes who killed her mom, so when she hears that John went missing she tracks down the boys and they reunite to find him
