Hello there! I’m Moose and this is my Gus, an intelligent man who occasionally makes bad decisions.

A little about Gus:

Gus is an OBGYN who specializes in multiple-births and other forms of high risk pregnancies.

He is generally charming, intelligent and kind. 

He loves, loves, loves his job. 

However, he actually never did plan to have children of his own. Just wasn’t his thing. Babies are great. Kids seem like a bit of a nightmare and totally out to ruin his fun.

He is the classic version of a great uncle.

Except .... 

About six weeks ago, he was out of town and having a great night, ended up spending the weekend with a real cutie. Way too young for him of course for anything serious but it was super fun. 

Except ... 

They weren’t as careful with the birth control as they should have been and the doctor who should have known better is having an oops-baby with that hot redhead. 

He’s not even sure what her last name is. 

They barely know each other.

Given his job, she agreed to move to Shorebush and give a relationship a try.

Fucking hell, what has he done now!?!?

She’s young and smart, probably too smart to fall into bed with this dumb dumb

She’s moved here and they are living together to give this whole parenting thing a whirl.

OOC notes:

I do write smut but don’t do readmores so if you wanna write something like that out with me (yay), let’s slid into a google doc or chatzy for the fun bits and then just post all at once (at that point under a readmore of course).

I have terrible vision so micro font, tiny icons, complex aesthetics and readmore back and forth replies are all a cruel joke designed to cause insta-migraines and make me hate existence so if that is really important to you, I would make a terrible rp partner for you. I will not be offended if you pass me by. Do not feel bad. No one’s fault I have lousy vision - we’re just working with the facts.

important headcanons to consider:

can they use chopsticks-absolutely not. I can’t see him having the patience to even learn. 

what do they do when they cant sleep-Gus will work out to the point of exhaustion. Rather it be circuit training or just heading out to run until his legs give out. 

order do they wash things in the shower-systematically from the head to the toe.

what’s their coffee order-black with a dab of cream. Nothing fancy. 

what sort of apps would they have on their smartphone- a fitness tracker, Kindle, Spotify & Tetris  

how do they act around children-Gus doesn’t really know how to act around kids.  He tends to give them a wide berth and in most interactions just cleans up his language but otherwise treats them the same as adults.

what would they watch on tv when they’re bored and nothing they really like is on-golf and curses himself out for watching it but remaining transfixed by the whole thing. Constantly waiting for it to come to a dramatic crescendo and be utterly disappointed when it doesn’t.
