Yeah, I do actually plan on eventually doing a lengthy comparison post (if not multiple posts, let's be honest) between the Trigun manga, the 90s Trigun anime and Trigun Stampede, but I feel like this could serve as a simpler version/funnier take:

OG!Wolfwood would have flirted with and bent Stampede!Vash over the nearest table the first second he got.

Stampede!Wolfwood would have fucking combusted on the spot and hissed like a feral cat if OG!Vash told him he looked cute.
