That one’s Aleks.

I don’t think either of them would? Aleks is a jerk, and Iain can’t talk to other people. Relatively, Iain, although it’d take him awhile to warm him up to them.

is the adventurous eater

I think Iain? He’s really into exotic foods, and will try practically anything, although he’s fine with simple foods too. That still doesn’t change the fact he doesn’t eat enough.

hogs the covers at night

Aleks. That’s just. A given. It’s Aleks, ze’d just grab them all and keep them to zimself.

forgets to do the dishes

Neither of them would really forget, and Iain’s pretty responsible with them and other chores. If Aleks saw that they hadn’t been done, ze’d probably collect them for him to work on later, 

tries to surprise their partner more often

This one’s mostly Iain. Aleks might surprise him with a dinner date or something, but Iain’s the kind of person who enjoys doing things to surprise the other.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor

Same as number five really. Iain tends to remember, though Aleks will lend a hand if Iain’s slacking off.

stays up til 2 AM reading

Iain. He does that whenever he can’t sleep, and he gets restless in bed, so he walks in and out a lot.

Shampain for Ueli, Are You Satisfied? for Iain, Oh No! for Sasha, Forget for Batu

Shampain- Do you drink?Ueli doesn’t drink much. They’ve had the occasional glass of wine for special events, but that’s really it. They’re content to stay that way, and prefer other drinks.

Are You Satisfied?- Are you content with your life?Iain is somewhat content with his life. Even though he’s got Yousuke and Aleks, who he continues a relationship with even after they graduate, he’s still got his worries. He sometimes fears that his friends want to abandon him, and he worries about his mother, who’s the source of most of his problems. He wants to be less anxious and friendlier too.

Oh No!- Favorite TV Show(s)Sasha loves Hannibal, and is also an avid fan of So You Think You Can Dance.

Forget- Anything you wish you could forget?Batu doesn’t like thinking about the night he spent in jail. He had gotten into a street fight, and his brother found out and bailed him without telling their parents. He generally felt ashamed of what he’d done.

He tries to make a community of friends and help them, but things go to shit and everyone dies.

He'd summon a guillotine and chop his opponent in half. Or something. I don't really know. He isn't much of a fighter.

Day 22: Time Travel

If your character could time travel, where would they go?

*Iain breathes heavily* "Y-yes. Excellent." 

How to choose? Iain has certain areas that interest him more than others, so he has several times he'd want to visit. One choice would be Germany under the Holy Roman Empire. That seemed interesting to him.

Another choice would be the Ottoman Empire during it's Golden Age. Since they were the first civilization he wrote about, they hold a strong place in his heart. 

The last place would probably be feudal Japan, since he'd want to examine the weapons the samurai used. Just let him time travel in general.

What would your character’s  cutie mark be?

Iain's cutie mark would probably be a book, or maybe a clock, to go with his talent as a historian.

Character Development Day 20

Does your character have any irrational fears? 

While he's fine with touching and talking his friends, he dislikes human contact with other people. And he's scared of large dogs. They kind of make him uncomfortable. He doesn't like being the center of attention, and prefers to sit quietly with a few friends. 

His largest fear is that his friends will abandon him someday, so he thinks that they'll get bored of him and throw him away. This makes him clingy, and he tries to act more upbeat than he really is.
