On the internet/democracy/content

The internet is home for two types of people: those who create content, and those who share content. People are become less and less aware of the fact that sharing is not creating. Content is slowly ultra-democratized, as in becoming “of everybody” regardless of who started it. Any initiative quickly becomes everybody’s initiative. Maybe we are starting to think and do as a species rather than individuals, perhaps we’re stepping into a new era for mankind, the era of the ant-people, of the hive, of the whole.

After 15th of April or 31 of December of this year(2016), I will rarely be online here on tumblr, unfortunately.

No, not because I want to, it’s thanks to internet here in Brazil. They want to put an Internet Data Limit in all popular/important internet companies here in Brazil(Vivo, Oi, GVT and Net are some of these companies). The limit varies between 10 GB and 130 GB, depending on the speed contracted by the user. After the limit is reached, the network will become slower or them will ‘’lock’’ it until the beginning of the month.

The justice here doesn’t want this limit data happen, and are still investigating the companies. The country isn’t really in their best times...(Corruption is being discovered and investigated here, finally. But today we are in a crisis, monetary and political.)

So...... my internet disappeared

Inexplicably I can no longer access the internet from my condo, where I inevitably spend the majority of my life. I problem-solved all the obvious problem areas - modem, laptop, wire connections, and the like - and thus far can find no reason whatsoever why my internet is no longer working. I will keep you updated but obviously that significantly interferes my involvement (ugh). So if I happen not to be online, now you know why. Stupid technology.
