Much to the chagrin of @shirayuriretribution, Isono now drives a soccer mom’s van that he’s nicknamed the Misery Machine. It’s canon now.

Family was important to Isono. As someone who had always been close to his own, becoming an uncle had been one of the best days of his life. It was probably the start of the burning thought in the back of his mind.

He wanted kids of his own.

Logic ruled over him, however, and he knew he would probably never have them. He had a nagging fear that if he ever did, he could quite potentially leave them alone. Being a bodyguard was dangerous. Someone as loyal and dutiful as he, there was no doubt he'd put the lives of his charges over his own.

That didn't change when it came to Seto and Mokuba. If anything, he was more sure that he'd never let anything happen to them if he could help it. He doesn't remember when they became his greatest source of stress- in a good way. He doesn't remember when they became so important to him, when he became so fond of them (there were so many fond memories, cherry-picking through them didn't seem right). 

Maybe it was self indulgence. Maybe it was wrong to think this way. Maybe he'd keep it to himself.

But somewhere along the way, both Seto and Mokuba had become part of his family.
